Forward This!

I guess that it is somehow "pragmatic" that this didn't get out until today

Anadarko, please look up the story, I just saw this in the Financial Times. Appearantly they have a 25% share in the "Muacondo" well AKA Deepwater Horizon, another 10% is held by Japanese company, the rest BP according to this article. This is very curious/creepy given all context around. How do things get better from here???

Apparently FDR listened to conservatives more than progressives?? And Obama should too?

Revisionist history? Now they're (CONS) trying to pollute the history of perhaps the second greatest progressive in US Presedential history? Would love to hear what you all think. http://www.american.com/archive/2010/june-2010/what-obama-could-learn-fr...

Today's "Great Communicators." Heads Are Exploding.

I don't know what's worse: A communicator like Peter J. Ferrara (Thom's guest today), who was apparently in his manic phase and hopelessly suffering from verbarrhea and terminal, though honest, cluelessness; or our Mr. Obama, who is eloquent, respectful, and a great listener, but who is also—we are beginning to realize—a bit on the duplicitous side. I mean, we can trust Peter—he means what he says; but can we trust a man who can only be known by what he does?

BC News - BP told Deepwater rig safety gear 'broke weeks earlier'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/us_and_canada/10362139.stm

Tony H. & Goldman Sachs sold a lot of BP stock weeks prior to the rig explosion...mmmmm...could this be the reason why? Did BP have prior information that could have saved 11 lives ? This is criminal negligence and not an " accident " and those responsible need to be punished to the absolute fullest extent of the law. BP killed our GuM and for what ? $$$$$$$$$$$$=power=more money & power.

Today's show: your commentary on $20 billion compensation fund

Thom,

Did my ears deceive me or did you say (within a list of other retractors)"...Michele OBAMA called the fund a "shakedown"..." ???

I'm sure you mis-spoke but check the audio of your show from about 9:45 am this morning concerning this.

Love your show!!

Oil Spill

I believe that B.P. Oil Company will be successful if they will use explosive that explode inward not outward. When a building that has over a hundred floors get torned down they put explosives at key position all through the building structure. In a city like New York you cant afford for things to be fling through the airwhen you use explosive to bring down a building structure so great in size. They use explosives that when it explode everything fall inward to the ground like a earthquake causing the ground to cave in. B.P.

Whose Base is Bigger - Democrats or Republicans?

Thom plus logo In 1980, the Democratic and Republican parties went in different directions with regard to how to win elections. Knowing that so-called "swing voters" only represent about 5% of voters, Republicans worked hard to get out their base of hard-core right wingers.
