The Bill of Rights is a list of individual rights. Please read !

The Bill of Rights is a list of individual rights ! Why is it Thom that I never hear this from you ? It is a self evident fact that you choose to ignore when it comes to the second amendment ! In this list of INDIVIDUAL rights according to your thinking all these rights apply to individuals except the second amendment. I know you didn't take logic in college Thom because if you did you might be more logical and not base your opinions on emotion !!!!!

Michael Cohen

I am troubled today by Thom's fairly superficial view of Violence as a Political Tactic in History of which I cannot address here in detail for time and the complexity of the issue. The issue of violence is extremely complex. The discussion of these issues need to take place in the light of the seminal work on the Subject, Barrington Moore, Jr. "Social Origins of Dictatorship and Democracy". Moore is literally the Issac Newton of Social Science and unlike hard science knowedge in this subject is lost as often as it is gained.

Wall St optimizing Oil profits by letting Consumer Willingness and Ability to Pay set trading prices (Demand).

Amongst other considerations, Wall Street sets the price of a gallon of gas and other other by considering Consumers' Willingness and Ability to Pay.

Article makes a good example of how lax willingness and ability to pay can manfest in too much supply (unused product)– putting downward pressure on Oil prices in Financial Markets.

Obama Nominates Admitted War Criminal to Head the CIA: A Lesson for 'Politically-Correct' Lefties

It is fitting, of course, that an agency which has participated in some of the most heinous acts of brutality in the history of the world should be run by an admitted war criminal - John O. Brennan, a Bush-era C.I.A. official. Glenn Greenwald breaks it down eloquently, with links to this criminal's documented confessions here. I encourage reading the piece and all linked supporting material.

AIG lawsuit: Repeal corporate personhood or repeal anti-slavery laws

"The board of AIG, according to the New York Times, is weighing whether to join a $25 billion lawsuit against the U.S. government for forcing unacceptably high losses on shareholders in its bailout. The argument is that this violated the Fifth Amendment’s prohibition on the government seizing private property without just compensation."

Lindsey Graham in your face

I appologize in advance for this disturbing image. It has no relivance to any issue. It is, in fact, the product of a demented mind.

It was created by me using GIMP, a graphics program that rivals Photo Shop, but it is GPL, or 100% free.

Climate Change: “Wanted: Mars Colonists” (not a joke)

Oh well, at least somebody decided to do something in reponse to Obama’s horrifying environmental policy….here on earth.

And don't worry, I'm sure they'll be able to transfer all $7 billion of us (rolls eyes)

"The Saddest Thing Is This Won't Be Breaking News"

Thom plus logo As the world burns, and more and more fossil fuels are being used every day planet-wide, atmospheric carbon dioxide levels passed 416 ppm this week at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii. In the 300,000 years since the emergence of modern humans, carbon dioxide levels have never been this high.
