So this person will overseeing national parks, wilderness areas, and BLM lands. Sarah Palin and other "wise users" are on the list. A global warming denier is his first choice for heading the EPA. An oil and gas lobbyist for the Department of Energy. Never heard much about all this during the election. Just like in the elections of 1980 and 2000.

There are many reasons why Hillary lost. however I believe the biggest one was HER choice of VP. (Did he really help in VA, I think not) She did not learn from the primaries that the country was looking for change. Picking a corporatist Hilary clone may have been in her comfort level, but it did not add ANYTHING to the ticket and gave no reason for the progressive base and the "swamp drainers" to vote for her. Instead She took the same old inside Washington unexciting route.
For once I was glad to be living in a deep blue state. Who I voted for would not matter, Washington was going to go to Clinton regardless of my vote. Neither of these candidates earned my vote, that is coming from someone who has voted Republican since my first vote in 1994. For the first time in 6 presidential elections I turned my ballot in with no box checked on the Presidential race.
