Incentives to investing in the real economy are vital after the phase of credit- and bubble prosperity, after the expansion of the financial sector and the repression of alternatives and economic ethics. Economic ethics cannot be reduced to business ethics since that would be ideology. (Ulrich Thielemann)

Hmmm, that Riilke comment about snow has a little "dampner" quality to it if you're touching retirement years and you don't have a lot of $$ set aside or coming in to insulate them against more leaks in your financial boat caused by Republicans forever finding ways to "challenge" your boat's floatworthy status.

And ... for the comment that followed, watch out for large stones placed on RR tracks in staging yards or stations where trains are slow moving. While a fast moving loco will crush the stone, all it takes is the relative strength and size of a pebble to derail a locomotive or even a subway: Doesn't that remind anybody of Ferguson and towns like it?
