You can watch incredible free movies on www.hulu.com: "The 99%- Occupy Everywhere," "Capitalism-A Love Story," "We're Not Broke," "War Made Easy," and "Iraq for Sale."

Links to 12 free Internet books, 50 videos and more than 700 translated articles (like "Housing as a Human Right" and "The Right to Development") await you at www.freembtranslations.net.

On www.kickitover.org, you can download "The Creative Destruction of Neoclassical Economics," 400pp by the editor of Adbusters, www.adbusters.org.  You can also hear Thomas Piketty speak at the New School this January for an hour. Enjoy the feast!
A little time-prosperity in the humdrum/stagnating neoliberalism!

Unfortunately, Hulu isn't free...they just give you a short trial period which you probably have to register for and then opt out before they start charging you?? The problem with registering for any trial period is that they got your information. That's the same problem with almost anything that lures you into what they say is free...even the "2nd chance" lottery wants you to register and every time you enter, it identifies you as having played the game and keeps track of how much you spent, etc.

Thanks for the heads up on the "free" books. By the way there are lots of free books available on-line...and videos too...three places are: https://archive.org/ and www.gutenberg.org and https://librivox.org/ (for free audio books). You don't have to register for any of these web sites in order to get free stuff.

http://www.openculture.com/category/comedy books, movies, cartoons, audio books and more. The Whole Earth Catalog from 1968 is here in e-book version. Scroll farther down and another set of e-books from university presses, like UCLA. Art catalogs from the Guggenheim museum and others are here. Oscar winners, Hitchcock, Voltaire and more.
