Better than trying to change the privacy settings, just avoid using Windows altogether. Linux is so much better, does not include an NSA portal, and it is free.

"Better" needs to be defined and qualified here.

I'm running a Linux Mint version on one of my hard drives and I do appreciate the differences from Windows. And it is very powerful if you have the time. But I don't recommend it for everyone. It's a lot of bother for a many folks who just want to turn on their computer and do a few things. Just turning off those privacy settings in Windows 10 is a lot more than a number of folks I know can manage.

Right click Windows 10 start buttton and you get all the top right off screen functions of Windows 8. The menu then goes alphabetical for all apps, though control panel is not under C, but W for windows systems.

I had no trouble doing the privacy fix mentioned, either. I use anonymizers, too.

How about compatability with existing applications and games?
