This list is not a full list of near misses. I know of at least 5 incidences that were worse. They sweep these under the carpet as if it was nothing. Yeah, like Fukushima and Chernobyl were nothing. TMI would have been much worse if one person had not arrived for dayshift and saw what they were doing wrong.

Both of these plants did "uprates". This is increasing the fuel, temperatures, flow rates etc. to get more megawatts out of the plants. This is beyond original design. A cheap way to make more money. Exelon will not say it. But this is happening to GE BWR reactors all over the USA. When they do this the reactors cracking problems increases dramatically. Reactor maintenance is extremely expensive. They want the public to pay for this maintenance.

Trump's Lies Are Killing Us

Thom plus logo Donald Trump keeps insisting in his rallies, as he did last night, that he has lowered prescription drug prices, is protecting people with pre-existing conditions, and is improving Medicare. While everybody knows that he lies a lot, these are among the most pernicious lies.
