You just knew it was going to happen. Obama is in the pocket of the most evil of corporations, and Monsanto may be the evilest. Monsanto is out to destroy small and family farmers or, if it can’t totally destroy them, to make them wholly dependent on its products.

And there are fools who are going to vote for Obama?

Obama to announce Africa farm plan to relieve poverty

By Lesley Clark | McClatchy Newspapers

President Barack Obama will announce an alliance Friday with nearly 50 companies to boost productivity among small farmers in Africa with the goal of lifting 50 million people out of poverty.

Business executives from agricultural giants such as DuPont and Monsanto will join Obama, along with the leaders of three African countries who have pledged policy changes that U.S. officials say will improve business climates and encourage investment.

This article appeared in Vanity Fair but many others also try to alert the public to the evils of Monsanto:

Monsanto’s Harvest of Fear

Monsanto already dominates America’s food chain with its genetically modified seeds. Now it has targeted milk production. Just as frightening as the corporation’s tactics–ruthless legal battles against small farmers–is its decades-long history of toxic contamination.

"I wouldn't vote for Obama, not even for dog-catcher." He has sold the nation to the highest bidders.

Here’s the “roundup” on Monsanto:

And this video lays it out:

The World According to Monsanto

There’s nothing they are leaving untouched: the mustard, the okra, the bringe oil, the rice, the cauliflower. Once they have established the norm: that seed can be owned as their property, royalties can be collected. We will depend on them for every seed we grow of every crop we grow. If they control seed, they control food, they know it – it’s strategic. It’s more powerful than bombs. It’s more powerful than guns. This is the best way to control the populations of the world. The story starts in the White House, where Monsanto often got its way by exerting disproportionate influence over policymakers via the “revolving door”. One example is Michael Taylor, who worked for Monsanto as an attorney before being appointed as deputy commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1991. While at the FDA, the authority that deals with all US food approvals, Taylor made crucial decisions that led to the approval of GE foods and crops. Then he returned to Monsanto, becoming the company’s vice president for public policy.

Thanks to these intimate links between Monsanto and government agencies, the US adopted GE foods and crops without proper testing, without consumer labeling and in spite of serious questions hanging over their safety. Not coincidentally, Monsanto supplies 90 percent of the GE seeds used by the US market. Monsanto’s long arm stretched so far that, in the early nineties, the US Food and Drugs Agency even ignored warnings of their own scientists, who were cautioning that GE crops could cause negative health effects. Other tactics the company uses to stifle concerns about their products include misleading advertising, bribery and concealing scientific evidence.

If Obama really wanted to reduce poverty, starvation and suffering in Africa he'd promote an agressive, effective birth control program.

Monsantos GMO crops are even in Morning Star brand vegan foods.....

It's getting harder and harder to steer clear of these gmo's - and if Minsanto had their way we wouldn't even be allowed to Know if the food we buy in the grocery stores contain gmo's.

Too bad Obama seems to be in bed with Monsanto - even naming the VP of Monsanto to be the Obama Admin's 'Food Czar'.

And even more disturbing, Obama seems certain to have yet another four years to screw the country.

Conservatives supposedly hate freeloading. So why are they trying to legalize it?

Conservatives supposedly hate freeloaders.

So why do they support right to work laws - which literally legalize freeloading?

Our nation's nine unelected monarchs on the Supreme Court are poised to deal yet another blow to organized labor.
