Government-Run Cancer Institute Quietly Acknowledges That Cannabis Kills Cancer Cells
The National Cancer Institute is an organization mandated by U.S. law to educate Americans about cancer and the latest research efforts. According to its website, NCI is touted as “the U.S. government’s principal agency for cancer research.” And recently, it quietly admitted that cancer cells have been killed by cannabis in a lab setting.

I'd want to see the before and after x-rays. Seems like you are a big fan of anecdotal research. Is Rick the only one with the magic formula? How did this one get over the transom Thom? Will it work on my head lice? Why does this sound like an infomercial?

This kind of post about cannabis oil giving email addresses or links where to get it (not DdC's reply) is usually spam, so don't be surprised if it disappears from view. Best not to reply, because replies disappear too.

Cannabis Cocktails, Mocktails, and Tonics:
The Art of Spirited Drinks and Tonics

Mezzrole Cocktail
This one is named after Milton “Mezz” Mezzrow, a jazz musician who lived in Harlem in the 1920s. And, as Mezz himself would have known, the term for a well-rolled cannabis cigarette was a “mezzrole”

Historically, the Vermouth in the Mezzrole Cocktail and the Dramatis Personae contained a veritable laundry list of beneficial herbs that could be used to treat scads of illness and afflictions. And if you can't imagine combining vermouth with cannabis, consider these two facts: early apothecaries used vermouth as a hair tonic to treat head lice. Certain strains of cannabis are insect repellents.

Part of my point is that while this piece of junk found its way here, some of my submitted posts have never seen daylight in the blog. It is unclear how screeners decide what is OK and what is not.

Sue I don't think its spam. Just another story from patients or family. That is Rick's Institute email but I've never seen Rick advertise and certainly doesn't rely on message boards. His recipe has been online and its only sold in selected dispensaries as far as I know. He is/was in Canada, where its legal and well known around the globe.

This seems like thousands of others finding a remedy outside of the norm. Again without an honest system of cannabis studies where politicians don't determine science. Anecdotal is all we got sometimes. Doctors aren't allowed to prescribe, only monitor. The research outside of the states isn't permitted nor is the better quality cannabis sold in dispensaries. The difference in anecdotal cannabis and just patient stories is a patient using Ganja is still monitored by physicians. Long term results are recorded and when less antibiotics are used or less Oxy. It shows, so as the lame prohibbies try to make it all sound made up or desparate to try anything. Its the oldest medicine known. Just not known by those in the prohibition business or the censored schools and media. Do what you must, I have my entries formatted on textedit so they're ready to reply to any drug worrier at a moments notice.

Here are more.

How the government gets sucjh "potentially" terrible results? Only use schwag and ban anything else. Keep the monopoly and eliminate big pharma competition. Just fascism, nothing to get alarmed about.

Report Shows DEA Deliberately Blocked Beneficial Science to Perpetuate War on Cannabis

Though it probably comes as no surprise, a new report confirms the DEA systematically thwarted research into both cannabis and MDMA for medicinal use and potential rescheduling. Additionally, the Drug Policy Alliance and Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) found in their report, the federal government maintains an “unjustifiable monopoly” on research-grade cannabis — preventing independent producers from contributing to any scientific studies.

According to the report, bluntly titled “The DEA: Four Decades of Impeding and Rejecting Science,” a compilation of case studies “illustrate a decades-long pattern of behavior that demonstrates the agency’s inability to exercise its responsibilities in a fair and impartial manner or to act in accord with the scientific evidence — often as determined by its Administrative Law Judges.”

In effecting inexcusably lengthy delays for cannabis research approval and refusing to reschedule the plant, the Drug Enforcement Agency has and continues to prevent countless people from obtaining crucial — in some cases, lifesaving — medicine they need.

Government Marijuana Looks Nothing Like Real Stuff
Take a look at the photo above. That's what most marijuana consumers picture when they think “marijuana” — chunks of pungent green plant material coated in sticky, crystallized THC-rich resin. http://drugsense.org/url/jTKJ8y1c

But if you're a researcher looking to work with marijuana — to say, investigate how it impairs people, or how it could help people suffering from certain ailments — you don't have access to the weed that everyone else is using. Since the late 1960s the federal government has mandated that all marijuana used in research has to come through the federal government.

I think it all depends, Monseigneur, upon whether your post agrees with Sue et alia's current attitudes. I have had several pro-Bernie posts censored with no explanation of course. And no criticism of political rectitude is tolerated; freedom of speech is only for those with the correct viewpoints. Savonarola lives!

Don't worry PhilfromOhio Its not censorship in your case, its just that you never have anything of interest to say. Typical response is to insult and whine. You miss out on life living in a fly over state of mind as you do physically in a fly over state. A dud, no cognizant thought. Just follow orders and whine. One of Drumpf's alternative citizens.

Uses of Hemp

Ships & Sailors

Ninety percent of all ships’ sails (since before the Phoenicians, from at least the the 5th Century B.C.E. until long after the invention and commercialization of steam ships - mid to late 19th century) were made from hemp.

The world “canvas” is the Dutch pronunciation (twice removed, from French and Latin) of the Greek word “Kannabis.”

In addition to canvas sails, until this century, virtually all of the rigging, anchor ropes, cargo nets, fishing nets, flags, shrouds, and oakum (the main protection for ships against salt water, used as a sealant between loose or green beams) were made from the stalk of the marijuana plant.

Even the sailors’ clothing, right down to the stitching in the seamen’s rope-soled and (sometimes) “canvas” shoes were crafted from cannabis.

Additionally, the ships’ charts, maps, logs, and Bibles were made from paper containing hemp fiber from the time of Columbus (15th Century) until the early 1900s in the Western European/American World, and by the Chinese from 1st Century A.D. on. Hemp paper lasted 50 to 100 times longer than most preparations of papyrus, and was a hundred times easier and cheaper to make.

Incredibly, it cost more for a ship’s hempen sails, ropes, etc. than it did to build the wooden parts.

Textiles & Fabrics

Until the 1820s in American (and until the 20th Century in most of the rest of the world), 80% of all textiles and fabrics used for clothing, tents, bed sheets and linens, rugs, drapes, quilts, towels, diapers, etc. - and even our flag, “Old Glory”, were principally made from the fibers of cannabis.

Roland, Sue was only saying that if the original post was Spam then I shouldn't waste my time posting on this thread. So I basically said not to worry its not that much of my time. The post is still here so maybe the whines won't be acted upon. As far as my posts. Sue has never been a problem. If some are removed I get it. They can be lengthy splainin to some duds. Just to be clear on that. On the other hand. I can't get on to the TH Report, but it may be this old laptop I use traveling. ☮

I'm not the one who lets new posts in or not, these days.

Perhaps this one is not spam, but there are people who post large numbers of very similar posts which definitely are spam, as they are posted zillions of times over the net as well as several times on this site. This one has been posted several times over the past couple of years (maybe more, if they varied the story slightly to avoid being obvious to google etc). But if DdC says this one links to somebody who is genuine, I'll leave it up.

As for Hartmann Report, I suggest you email webmaster@thomhartmann.com
