Take a look at http://bridgesforkitz.com/ to see about waving "Thank you!!!" signs on bridges!
This morning people here in Portland waved, thanked me, and a terrific woman drove up and said that in the weeks before the election she saw me and was inspired. Great for her! (I've been on other bridges and wasn't on the bridge she saw quite as often as she remembered.)
But the point is this -- reaching out to people with signs, with big hands (take a look at my plastic "hand sign"), and with a sincere "Thank YOU!!!" after people have voted for us is very moving and very, very appropriate! This leads to a warm feeling in a cold time!
So let's think about getting on board bridges for the next election! This is retail politics at its most effective.
