Regarding the various recorded comments of George W. Bush in support of his effort to sell his latest pile of crap:

This "man" (Molly Ivins used to call him "shrub") seems to actually believe that he is a patriot and did all he could on behalf of our nation. Well, he is either lying or stupid beyond belief. In either case there is no excuse for his behaviour! After 3,000 people were killed on 9/11 he then sacrificed the lives of over 4,000 Americans (so far) to these "wars" in Iraq and Afghanistan...not to mention the lives of millions killed, maimed, left homeless and country-less in Iraq and Afghanistan...and Pakistan.

Such eggregious behaviour based on lies is certainly NOT excusable! And such eggregious behaviour even as a result of stupidity is NOT excusable. George W. Bush should be tried for these crimes. I believe he is guilty and, though I don't condone the death penalty, I would not lose sleep if he were then hanged with the same ignominy as was Saddam Hussein!

Lev Parnas is afraid of Bill Barr - and he should be

Thom plus logo Lev Parnas recently told Rachel Maddow that he's more afraid of Attorney General Bill Barr than he is of the mobbed-up foreign oligarchs he has betrayed. Barr, after all, can weaponize our prisons to punish Parnas.
