There are two things that really tick me off lately -- the constant pounding to vote blue no matter what - shouldn't that start near the end of the primary?

Also, the bombardment pushing Bernie to drop out - aimed at his supporters! Why? Are we supposed to give up our right to vote for our choice when the primaries have barely started? I don't remember this from previous elections. Is this new or just someone taking advantage of Facebook and the Internet to push out the propaganda?

Someone asked on a thread - why people would choose not to vote for Hilary. A reasonable question. People responded with things like -- I'm an independent, I'm with the Green Party, I'm a Republican. Essentially, voters that never would have gone to Hilary if Bernie was never in the race.

There is also a large number of disenfranchised Democrats -- those that see the DNC expecting their votes because there is no other place for them - the progressives. Who keep asking for change and see the Progressive Caucus told to behave and keep in line. It is only Elizabeth Warren that seems to have broken their oppressive mantle to be take n seriously by the party. The progressive voters see this and are not happy about being treated as lap dogs. Their expectations are ignored. I see this as part of the 'revolution' -- against the DNC refusing to stand for them.

Basically, this means that some of these voters - are not Hilary's to snag!

I agree, but please use your spell-check.
It's important to know how to, for example,
actually spell Hillary's name correctly if you
want to have your ideas seriously considered.
("Bernie's voters are not Hillary's to get":
mangled sentence syntax, but at least the
spelling and punctuation are now corrected).

But yes, I agree! I refuse to be a Stepford voter.
It's sad, but I think the Dems take progressives
for granted and it seems that it may take a
drastic event like a Trump presidency and
more right-wing fanatical Supremes to actually
wake them (and the country, as a whole) up to,
for one example, the manipulative nature of
the corporate media. It will take decades to
untangle such a mess, but such is the downfall
and the eventual rise of something that may
take generations to accomplish.

Spell check doesn't work on names, but I do understand that these errors distract from the message.

Clinton will have to show that her apparent movement to the left is real, rather than a very temporary attempt to co-opt Sander's positions to win the primary. If she surrounds herself with neoliberals (e.g. people like Rahm Emanuel, Tim Geitner, or Robert Rubin) going in to the general election, it will be a clear indication that Clinton has no desire to "evolve" on neoliberalism. While I wouldn't recommend sitting out the election if Clinton were clearly going support the same old trickle-down corporatist policies, I can't fault people for refusing to go down the "vote for the lesser of two evils" road.
