I think that if the various religions of the world want to teach their belief in our schools, they need to pay for it like Coke and Pepsi did as they invested in American obesity in the '90s. Let these religious outfits pay the schools to teach this stuff, and reduce the taxes for the rest of us

We could have it set up like the radio dial, where the stations on the very left of the dial are publicly funded and everything else could be purchased. The classes in the morning could be the "core curriculum" and classes after lunch (nap time?) could be paid announcements. Of course parents could opt their children out of the paid part, to let their children attend classes that would prepare them for the real world.

Interested religions could finance this with their prolific televangelist fund-raisers.

Church and state should always be separate in our public schools. However, regarding science and the Bible, I am one of those who feel that they agree. You can look at whether we are in the end times either from a scientific viewpoint, global warming, honeybee depletion, or many other things, or in a religious way. For instance, in Genesis the Hebrew word yom does not have to mean a literal day, so it does not mean that God created the earth in 7 literal days or that the earth is only 6000 years old. The word yom only denotes a period of time that may or may not be a literal day. Genesis also agrees with science in the general order in which life appeared on earth. Also, Revelation shows the conditions at the time of the end, for instance Rev. 16:8 says The fourth angel poured his bowl on the sun; and it was allowed to burn men with its flames, which sure sounds like global warming, and many other features, some of which Thom touched on, that would only seem to apply to this general time period.

or religion (like in religions of the world) can be taught as sections in philosophy/sociology, as part of human thought and not as "a religion" class.

We Know How Far Trump Will Go - How Far Will Republicans Go?

Thom plus logo Colonel Vindman's testimony pretty much proves that Trump was trying to shake down Ukraine for information on Biden, and that the Republicans are doing everything they can to cover up this extortion attempt.
