I have admired and listened to Thom for almost two decades and it is a pleasure to help support his dedicated and tireless effort to save this Democracy.

Right now it seems that there is more than ample evidence to suggest that Trump is clinically insane and that his fascist acolytes want to destroy this Democracy in order to achieve their wet dream of oligarchy.

It is an honor to join this board in support of the dedicated and heroic work of Thom Hartman. I have been a listener for almost two decades and never cease to sit in awe of his clear insight and understanding of the realities this nation is confronted wi

Right now it is utterly clear that we are in the grips of a madman and his fascist Republican toadies who are pushing us ever rapidly toward oligarchy or if you will a cross between Putin's Russia and China.

We must act quickly to halt and reverse this tide or we will have to undergone 30 years of immense hardship.

Our first line of defense is to remove as many Republicans from office as we can in this coming election cycle.

On Saturday March 18th I and about 1,200 other sisters and brothers confronted Rep. Vern Buchanan (right wing fascist) at a Town Hall in Sarasota. Trust me in that he made every attempt to call his loyal Trumpites in support. We outnumbered them by a margin of 3 to 1!

Here is a clip of what we told him for over 90 minutes.

He had to leave that stage in knowing that this is his last term in office.

Let's make his and the political careers of his fellow fascist the last term across America!

Don't worry!

These clowns have not yet realised that without us they can no longer exist

They are just drunk and drugged up by riches and wealth... the result is blindness to reality and total lack of and memory of cause and effect

Who can buy anything when they have no money?

Nobody can buy anything when they are dead

When there is no economic activity money has no value

That means they have nothing

This Democracy, MojoMan? You mean the one that is busily slaughtering old folks, women and children? See my post "Equality" for the latest exploits of this democracy. And not mentioned in my post is the u.S. follow-up to the sordid, murderous raid of a few days ago that was celebrated in the halls of Congress. A follow-up by "this democracy" that killed more women, children, and maybe chickens.

Try reading more of "this democracy" doings along with your coffee and roll. Start here, maybe:

Or you might like to read what Tom Englehardt wrote recently. "This Democracy" has been in decline long before Trump arrived on the scene. Would you have celebrated Hillary's war had she been the choice? Choice? I've pasted only the last few paragraphs but read all of it to know more about "this democracy" and its murderous exploits:

And yet, despite the best efforts of the last two administrations, secrecy has its limits. We should already know more than enough to be horrified by the state of our American world. It should disturb us deeply that a government of, by, and for the war-makers, intelligence operatives, bureaucrats, privatizing mercenary corporations, surveillers, torturers, and assassins is thriving in Washington. As for the people -- that’s us -- in these last years, we largely weren’t there, even as the very idea of a government of, by, and for us bit the dust, and our leaders felt increasingly unconstrained when committing acts of shame in our name.

So perhaps the last overlooked anniversary of these years might be the 12th anniversary of American cowardice. You can choose the exact date yourself; anytime this fall will do. At that moment, Americans should feel free to celebrate a time when, for our “safety,” and in a state of anger and paralyzing fear, we gave up the democratic ghost.

The brave thing, of course, would have been to gamble just a little of our safety -- as we do any day when we get into a car -- for the kind of world whose anniversaries we would actually be proud to mark on a calendar and celebrate.

Among the many truths in that still-to-be-written secret history of our American world would be this: we the people have no idea just how, in these years, we’ve hurt ourselves.

After 8 years of chest pounding a bad health plan did not pass today because a minority of the Republicans wanted an even worse health plan. They want more to die. Yet they cannot fiqure out that every other country has a much better health plan than what we have now. Plus the minority today was Koch supported. You have 85 billion dollars and all you can do is support a plan that will kill off the poor and middle class? Why does anyone in the 99% vote Republican?

Shit, Legend, the u.S. has a superb health care plan but thus far it's only being tested on "gooks" and "rag heads". Just think, these 200 or so will never have to spend a single copper on health care ever again:

NEWS MAR 25 2017, 10:00 AM ET
CENTCOM Investigates Whether U.S. Airstrikes Killed 200 Civilians In Mosul
by COURTNEY KUBE and SAPHORA SMITH

Senior military and defense officials are investigating reports that scores of civilians — potentially nearly 200 — were killed in a U.S. airstrike in the Iraqi city of Mosul last week.

Local officials and residents said Thursday that dozens of people were buried in collapsed buildings after the air raid in the al-Aghawat al-Jadidah district triggered a huge explosion, according to Reuters.

The strike comes in the same month as two other high profile strikes in Syria, where the U.S.-led coalition is also fighting ISIS. In total the three strikes have resulted in unconfirmed reports of upwards of 350 civilian casualties.

Officials at United States Central Command (CENTCOM) are now investigating whether the Mosul strike was executed by the U.S. rather than by other coalition members, or even by ISIS, and whether the numbers of civilian casualties are correct.

If the reports are true March will be the deadliest month for civilians at the hands of U.S. airstrikes since the war began, potentially taking the tally to more than 1,000 civilians killed.

The United Nations expressed profound concern on Saturday over the reports.

"We are stunned by this terrible loss of life," Lise Grande, the humanitarian coordinator for Iraq, said in a statement.

The dramatic uptick forced Airwars — a monitoring group which notes casualty numbers — to stop tracking Russian strikes and only focus on U.S. and coalition strikes that result in civilian casualty claims.

For the first time since Moscow's intervention in Syria, claims of civilian casualty deaths caused by the coalition outstripped claims against Russia, according to Airwars.

A senior defense official denied that there had been any change in rules of engagement, which are meant to minimize civilian casualties in Iraq and Syria.

The U.S.-backed offensive to drive Islamic State out of Mosul, now in its sixth month, has recaptured most of the city. The eastern side and about half of the west is under Iraqi control.

But according to Reuters advances have stuttered in the last two weeks as fighting enters the narrow alleys of the Old City.

Yes, I did watch the entire video and this one that follows. This link below is in fact the same one that you gave earlier in another of your comments but apparently having finally watched it to the end you now don't want others to watch it:

It suggests, or raises the possibility, that the death and destruction was an inside job, a false flag operation.
