Meet the Press (a benign program name that fits its style—maybe Meet and Greet the Press would be more appropriate) featured Mike Pence and Robby Mook and the subject of the latest Comey PR botch about emails. Todd cowered to Pence as he deflected every single question but dogged Mook over and over. Instead of interrupting Pence as he repeatedly tacked into his memorized list of talking points, Todd let him go on and on ad nauseum, while he simply put his hand up, like someone asking the teacher to be excused to go to the bathroom. With Mook, he verbally interrupted him over and over until he received a response. Depending on the guest,Todd seems to suck up and kick down.

What is the concern here anyway? That Pence will boycott MSNBC if he is given the hardball treatment? Who has given these marching orders to Todd? Pence has all the personality and conscience of a drone, and Meet the Press is a venue that selectively tolerates that. The bottom line is that Pence is more skilled at evasion than Todd is at piercing bullshit. Pence one, Todd zero, journalism zero. A waste of time.

" journalism zero. A waste of time " PhilfromOhio like you i can't stomach watching it.

Journalism American style, hilarious, these are nothing more than talking heads, empty heads, robotically controlled by the 'shows' producer and i stress 'shows producer'.

Todd once admitted if he goes after them they will not return and his ratings will plummet. Most right wingers stick to Fox News interviews where they only answer canned questions and snowballs.

Organized Money Is Dangerous To Democracy

The question that is constantly being asked, particularly on the talking heads on television, is "what do the Democrats have to do to regain political power?" What does it take?
