With no capacity for introspection, he focuses all of his energy on his own reflection. It has to be seamless or he becomes insecure and experiences acute withdrawal symptoms...therefore the constant pot stirring, the affronts to norms, the presidency by tantrum.

For a guy who spends so much time looking at himself in the mirror, what is he seeing that we aren’t? This is the same guy whose reality is what he watches on Fox News, and what he reads online at right wing websites. In his brain, everything reflects his image, but he has no capacity to see a repetitive, boring, orange-headed, shallow, used car salesman that most of us see.

I suspect that if you took away the money factor from his portfolio, even the diehard supporters would lose interest. He is the one they consider their best bet on winning the personal lottery of life--their Great White Hope. They had better pay attention and check their own wallets and watches. He has sticky fingers.

In his experience, bad behavior, outrageous observations and deceit draw the most attention and distract. Nevermind if it freaks everyone out. Whenever something seems to be coming to label him for his falsehoods, he shoots off another tweet or executive proclamation to try to get the hounds off of his trail. But, they are coming.

Like a true narcissist, he denies facts and makes up his own. All of the moochers who are trying to draft his energy and momentum simply look the other way or act like they are deaf. As long as they get their little piece of the pie, that is all that matters to them. He has overpromised and exaggerated the future like a classic Ponzi scheme. Most stakeholders will end up holding the bag.

In the presidential popularity contest, he was voted least popular. As a new president his ratings are the lowest in history. But in his mind he dwarfed the competition. Winner, winner, chicken dinner! His numbers will never add up. This is the same person who we are expected to believe if he makes a case for war or forecasts the nation’s budget. The purest form of BS on the planet, where all messengers bearing bad news are all done away with.

This isn’t going to have a happy storybook ending. It will be a tragedy for all involved and change the course of politics for the next generation. He considers anyone who is not a supporter an alien. You don’t exist and your problems are invisible.

Do you trolls reading this have no shame?

My confessional is now open for you. Step in and tell your story.

Repent!

Diane,

Welcome to my salvation sanctuary. Nice of you to accept my invitation.

The Dow bubble will be very comforting to all of the people whose income has been flat for the past 20 years and who haven't been able to stuff 401Ks. You must be a new deferred tax investor and are giddy about the Dow. The 2008 DJIA drop was sobering for many. Maybe you missed that bath.

The next move will be a big drop when it becomes clear that Don's dreams have no plan or policy to make them come true. Everyone in a Ponzi scheme is happy UNTIL they find out that their dough went to someone else's fast cars, fast women and posh homes instead of building their own portfolio.

Still time to repent, Diane.

Step into the confessional and ask for foregiveness.

Diane.........I think you made a mistake about your poll source. According to your leader everything at CNN is fake news. Please don't spread fake news. -MP

@2 & 3

The Dow rises and falls. I have been a saver/investor for well over 50 years. I don't read books predicting booms or busts. Steady investing will provide solid growth for me as well as union pension funds that proved smarter than authors. Rather than ask how I survived in 2008, you may ask those poor souls that got out of the market because of "fake" advice based on nothing. Had they not followed that advice they would have doubled their money. At that point they can pull half and play with the risk depending on their age.

Yes I agree CNN is fake news but I know leftie/socialists cling to that media so I put it in just for bore ass woman hater. Personally I think President Trump inspired far more than the 7 in 10 reported by CNN.

Your biggest fear is Trump will be successful and so far you have a lot to worry about.

Diane,

You need to seek absolution for your unclear reasoning. If, as you say, that 'the Dow rises and falls' --then why are you directly ascribing a direct cause and effect to your leader for the current Dow bump?

I don't think we will find you drawing it to our attention when there is a 500 point drop under his so-called watch. This dysfunctional reasoning could complicate your therapy and ultimate absolution. Incidentally, you should not call Trump a "bore ass woman hater." How can he grab what he likes to grab if word like that got around?

Come into Monsignor Phil's sanctuary.

You can be forgiven, but you must first repent! Your therapy could start by watching "The Brainwashing of My Dad" on Amazon. Please let me know if you enjoy it (or not).

Kind wishes for your recovery and for seeking help from me for your spiritual restoration.

Diane:

Mark my words, here comes a Twitter-Fit.

It looks like your Trump popularity bump was pretty short lived, which in your mind should confirm the notion that it was fake news to begin with (circular reasoning). I am afraid your man is going to have a relapse and fall off of the wagon again. Another Twitter-Fit is on its way. The foam is building in his mouth and his index finger is starting to twitch.

That's the problem with being addicted to TrumpFacts--within 24 hours of abstinence he always gets the DTs and drinks from the cup again.

Have a blessed day- MP

You should be more succinct, Phil. Combover is a perpetual pubescent. Also, most economics lacks rational thought; usually it is just a paraphrase of religious belief`.

Trump is a rich American phenomenon, born on third base, he still believes in life he's hit a triple. He eats American junk food, loves American mindless TV, has no real set of established values, lacks culture and poise, sees the world as me,me. Is selfservingly rude and abrasive, the ugly American. Seeks endless sources of satisfaction without concern for those around him. He is the center of the universe as far as he is concerned. Is incapable of deep reasoned thought, is therefore reactionary. Has no deep seated beliefs or religion though he fakes it when necessary, knows virtually nothing of history or the past. His world views and knowledge is infantile at best. Has limited vocabulary of repeatable simple words. He places all his worth in the old axiom of 'he who dies with the most toys wins'. He is totally self absorbed. Is sociopathic incapable of empathy or kindness. Through his wealth hangs with other jet setting plastic people. His only meaningful interactions with the world and people is through social media. The totally functioning superficial modern American.

Zap,

You have accurately distilled his character down to its anemic essence. There is no there there. Nothing, Nada. A shallow vessel of bitter self-adulation. A cult leader. His followers are going to need rehab. It will take a while. I may have to get more donations to build a larger confessional.

Zap, let's hold hands now and pray for them. [Diane, you and the other acolytes can stand to the far right. Let's all repeat 5 times in unison: "Owa tagoo siam."]

See you in church again tomorrow.

It's easy enough to dismiss trumpkof as some carnival barker for the freak show, as a traveling snake oil salesman or as some kind of crude third rate joke heard from the gutter as you waited for the Uber driver to show up but you do so at the peril of just what will remain standing by the time 'that clown car' leaves town.

(The Truther)

"Each American generation passes the torch of truth, liberty and justice, in an unbroken chain all the way down to the present."

"That torch is now in our hands."

"And we will use it to light up the world."

"Light it up?"

Oh, Hey. Eat, drink and be merry ... no need not to prance now ...

A new day is coming, the old is passing away ....

Kay, a few minutes ago I had a rare sighting, and one that has kept me in place longer than I should be hanging about, I caught sight of a bald eagle just cruising the air currents a mere (guessing) 40 or 50 feet above me.........Just Mesmerizing she/he was.

Yeah yeah, the Phoenix shall rise again.....but what will be left for him to rebuild from when he does?

Hey rs. Neat about the eagle!

"Yeah yeah, the Phoenix shall rise again.....but what will be left for him /her to rebuild from when she/he does?"

..., from the smoke, I would guess ... and all that implies ... the cosmic compost.

"Here and now, we find opportunity -- for one
and all -- to expand perspectives -- and horizons

-- to honor the golden rule in all we do --

open ourselves to rewards that come
from knowing we have made choices for
. . . life . . . conscience . . . integrity . . . .

Are we willing to grow beyond what we know?

Do we ever ask ourselves what
our lives will be if we do not

-- will it even be life . . . ?

Or, will it be a cheap {but costly} imitation?

The ball is in our court
. . . the score is love all

. . . so is the law.

Ah Zap, if only that were true. Unfortunately he is no phenomenon, but for the reality TV he is the archetype of our ruling class.

Relax R.S., it is not quite that dire; Combover's incompetence renders him generally ineffective.

Roland , that is exactly what he is "archetype of our ruling class". Trump single handedly is destroying the myth that most people of wealth, privilege and power possess extraordinary intelligence, common sense, worldliness, poise and culture.

Roland, I'm about as stoic as they come in matters I have no control over. But golly gee, thanks for the thought.

In case you've missed what I think of trumpkof and his competence for the job he now holds try to figure out why I always tag him trumpkof. Would it have been easier for you if I called him just plain dummkof? How about dumpkof? Dumbkof?

Whatever trumpkof's capabilities are or what they are not the people arrayed around him have no such questions surrounding them, so make no mistake they are smart and dedicated to their objectives. The senators and house members who now have a free hand have never been thought of as incompetent and just as dedicated as that pretty tight circle within the whitehouse.

You tell me to relax? That's a laugh.

You'd be squealing like a stuck pig if a ticket had won on a Pan-American or Pan-African agenda.

Well now, if you can't comprehend what I wrote, perhaps you should reread it, absorb it and then after you digest it get back to me.

And oh by the way, I have never been accused of being subtle. So now we can all thank you for the insight. It's the deepest one I've seen you make.
