The Republicans are in control of Congress. It is time to test the Republicans on their loyalty to the American People. What are good for Americans programs that build stronger incomes and wealth for American people?

Pass the Amendment overturning Citizen United ruling. This would define Corporations as not human and money as not speech.

No more free trade agreements or agreements that ship jobs overseas. Republicans have said “Government does not create jobs”; please government stops destroying jobs and opportunity for Americans.

Increase the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour. Employers should not be able to fill in the gaps in income for their employees with public funds. Refer to it as “Wages with Dignity Act”. The bases of the program should state that a employer that has over 40 people or part of a franchise with more than 10 employees must provide a living wage of medium income of the locality; and 100% healthcare, sick time and maternity time.

Protect Healthcare as a right for all Americans to have equal access to care. If a person has fear of the medical bill then the person does not have equal access.

Eliminating or lowering incarceration requirement for non-violent offenders.

Passing immigration reform get rid of deportation for people traveling to the country to work. Worker visa programs and border patrol that issues tickets and get traveling worker in contact with process to pay taxes and fees.

Simplify the tax code to 10% income tax on all earned income.

An earned merit scholarship based on aptitude skills in a projecting area of “needed employment”(determined by the department of labor) with purpose of reducing cost of vocational and college education by 90%.

Put the Republicans to the test bring these issues to their attention (every day).

All Americans except the rich already pay 8% tax on all their income, it's called Fica. The rich don't because their money comes from capital. Their income including unearned aka capital gains and dividends should be taxed on a progressive scale like the golden days of the Eisenhower Republic. 87% was the top marginal rate if I'm not mistaken. Piketty insists 90% is easily doable with no ill effects and instead positive effects, just as the economy grew so much for so many more during progressive income tax days from 1947 to 1980. A 10% flat tax would be the DOD would have to be terminated, and privatized. The oil comapnies and their crony associates like Halliburton would have to have funded the entire Iraq/Afghan war themselves [that's what those oil subsidies are for aren't they?]

jallen get dish and dump direct, like this post but 10 by 10 ain't enough. 10.10 doesn't pay a living wage where the cost of living is low, not if you have to drive to work. Also 10 percent tax will not fund the DOD. since GE is part of DOD and gets 3 billion in refunds. also I have paid an effective tax rate of 59 percent less depletion what ever that is. way less than the 20 percent severance. While Mitt Romeny paid 14 percent that same year, trust me he did way better than me. and I did not have to pay capitol gains on all the Money i made on commodities. but came real close, that would have added another 10 to 15 percent. The tax code is way to complicated and the rich have the time, and advise, to avoid these taxes, or they can simply hide money in the caymans and bahamas.

The continuation of the first task to attack Obamacare: Obamacare is the cause for employers not provide Veterans with jobs… I do not think so… I think greed and disrespect has more to do with it.

A better bill would be to provide healthcare benefits to all veterans for life at all healthcare facilities across the nation, “Forever Tricare”.

The bill for, “Hire More Heroes Act”, will still require veterans to buy healthcare insurance on the exchanges and pay for private healthcare insurance tax. As the republicans cut employer penalties for not covering employee’s private healthcare insurance tax less money for Obamacare means more money veterans will have to pay in private healthcare insurance tax.

Corporations and small business would hire if the employer was incentives to educate and train the veteran. A better bill would be to incentive hiring and training veterans for skills of the future by paying for the education while on the job working and learning a new skill. Plus with a new skill a Veteran would be applying for a job that offers health insurance from day one (Veteran fulfill a higher level of skill needed in the civilian sector (the soldier can rest).

The first task of the new Congress is to attack Obamacare and the second is to help the oil industry.

Restoring the 40 hour work week means: Define a full time worker as 40 hours or more per week. This would allow employers to be exempt from a tax penalty for not providing healthcare insurance to employees working less than 40 hours. An example of an employee that laid off workers would be Forever 21.

A person will be required to buy healthcare on exchanges if they work less than 39 hours a week. Obamacare can provide healthcare at less cost than through an employer. The only thing is that not having employers being penalized for not covering employee’s means less money in tax revenues to pay for Obamacare. This could increase the cost of Obamacare premiums. Plus, if truly a small business the owner of the small business probably will see an increase in their premiums too.

The first action of the new Republican Congress is to raise taxes on the working family. As defined by the U.S. Supreme Court the government can force citizens and residents to pay taxes. Premiums should be replaced with the word tax. My private healthcare insurance tax (not premiums).

Another priority is Republicans aiding their funding partners the Oil Industry; the Global Oil Industry. The Keystone pipeline is held up currently in a court decision If the Republicans decide to go over the judicial process and institute this policy of Keystone oil pipe it negate the American process of public debate and respect for the judicial process. Because of the commerce clause in the constitution and several court rulings the federal government has the authority to approve the keystone pipeline. I remember the Republican party being a party of small government. If Republican’s believe small local governments should have the greatest impact on the daily lives of citizens. How does not listening to the people and just using big government power compare to Republican history or philosophy???

http://keystone-xl.com/about/energy-security/

I really hope they plan on using something better than wooden pallets to hold up the pipeline???

I did not see the priority of repealing the mandate to purchase healthcare insurance only policies that would increase monthly private healthcare insurance taxes.
