I am truly sorry I missed the guys name he was a congressman speaking about a woman. And one of his comments. He suggested that lazy college women could get off their ----- and pay their college debt back by prostitution. Not sure where this character was from but I can testify that in taxes this was practiced. Back in the 70s I had the pleasure of hearing a story about the oldest house of ill repute in America. It was called the chicken ranch they did a musical and a whole lot of other things around.
I'm sorry to change subject but to anyone who has watched the new HBO series true Detective starring Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. Investigating a case in Louisiana and that case led them to a house of ill repute where young women and underage women work as prostitutes. The show implied the sheriff probably had a piece of that.
Back to the real story of the chicken ranch, the sheriff's name was Jim floynoy and the town was Lagrange Texas. The brothel had supposedly been servicing clientele for over hundred years. Until a loud mouth silver haired TV reporter from Houston Texas Marvin Zindler eyewitness news. I'm not certain if his name is correct. At any rate this little whorehouse in Texas was located between Austin and Houston. And there was a airport not more than a mile down the road. I did not witness this personally. But the story went the airport was there to fly college girls from Austin and businessman in and out from other cities. This is institutionalized discrimination. When looked at objectively we claim to have, come a lot farther than we actually have. Enlightenment is just a dream for the average caveman. Or maybe it's too hard to grasp!
