Since this will be reviewed by staff, I have to admit that I'm not sure this is the right place to post this. I've been a listener/fan for YEARS, but I'll never call in - it's just not something I can do. Feel free to edit and/or ignore, but I was very moved today.

Here's what I want to say:

Thom, I was listening when you cut off the woman who tried to sing; I was also bothered by what happened, and I felt at the time that you were too, especially since you went to great lengths (always sounding uncomfortable) to explain why you were doing it.

I had pretty much forgotten about this until today, when you shared your experience about being falsely accused of plagiary, how devastated you were, how much harm that did to you for years, and how you feared that you may have caused similar harm to this woman.

I don't know if she felt hurt (but I suspect she did), and I hope she calls in to accept your offer.

What I'm left with is just an increased respect for you as a human being.

While I did not hear this particular guest. I think Thom is a little too nice sometimes, some callers tend to meander.

Thanks. I just think it's important that Thom knows how much he influences the conversation even among folks who won't ever respond directly!
