Remomber Henry Ford and the Tin Lizzie? Henry Ford used to pay for songs that mentioned Ford. A song titled "Tin Lizzie", that was derogatory to the Model T, became wildly popular. Ford paid the author. When asked why he paid, he said "There is no such thing as bad advertising".
There is a real problem with the media in America today. Most media is right wing owned corporate media, largely owned by corporations that also make war equipment and RARELY even MENTION the wars we have going on.
As far as the corporate media goes, Bernie Sanders doesn’t exist, and Hillary BARELY exists. At one time we could argue that bandwidth belongs to ALL of us, but today most media is delivered via privately owned signal paths, and they do have the right to broadcast whatever they want.
However, even the Progressive Media, what little there is, talks constantly about Trump and Cruz, and only mentions Bernie or Hillary to express support. This includes the show right before TH on Sirius, who talk more than 75% of the time about Trump.
The Progressive Media are giving Trump as much advertising as FOX, and what’s worse, most listeners are INDEPENDENT voters that may take a look and decide they like Trump.
I know that it was the focus by Progressive Media that convinced me to look at Trump.
Guess what, if we ignore for a second his hate speech, he's FAR less Fascist than most Republicans, and in one way he's less Fascist than Hillary. ONLY Trump and Bernie have spoken out about reducing spending on wars that create more Terrorists (and transfer hundreds of Billions to the Swiss Headquatered War Corporations of Halliburton (Cheney and Romney), Carlyle Group (Bush and Romney).
Most Americans know that our tax dollars are MOSTLY going to foreign based war companies, and those who want this change, but also hate and fear, are likely to embrace Trump. The LAST thing we need to do is use the small amount of air time Progressives do get advertsing Trump. How about we never mention any Republcan, never, ever, not a word, on Progressive Media.
