A University of Maryland professor has stated that a violent weather related event would stimulate the economy by increasing demand for construction workers to help rebuild. This thinking meshes well with earlier comments by an editor of the Harvard Business Review that Climate Change and Global Warming represents a profit opportunity.

This thinking may help to explain why Obama’s energy policies propel us toward cataclysmic Climate Change – if we are not there already, and where we will most certainly be when Obama slams through the Keystone Pipeline that will, amongst other things increase our reliance on foreign oil.

So how can Obama even attempt to show concern for the victims of Hurricane Irene when he and Kenneth Salazar are completely engrossed in the act of fobbing off the cost of our addiction to fossil fuels onto people like you and me, as well as our children?

Kukushima still burns. GE’s nuclear energy isn’t the answer.

Coronavirus: Many Claim We Can't Afford Medicare-for-all, But, It Appears We Are About To Discover How Costly Our For-Profit Healthcare Is

Thom plus logo The coronavirus is now in the United States, and apparently the infection in California goes beyond just one person, because they can't figure out how that one person got it. Which means lots of people need to get tested, particularly if they have symptoms of a severe cold or flu which could indicate that they have the coronavirus.
