Even Scott Walker engages in propaganda with this blanket e-mail!

“Dear Concerned Citizen:

Thank you for contacting my office with regard to mining in Wisconsin. Given the recent introduction of mining legislation, as well as increased interest in various Wisconsin mineral deposits, I can understand that many Wisconsin citizens are particularly interested in this issue.

Mining brings to mind different reactions from different people. While some see potentially harmful environmental effects, others see economic revitalization for a sector that has been dormant for many years. Both of these viewpoints are important, and they can be balanced under an effective regulatory framework.

As shown by our state flag, mining is an important part of our history. Despite mining still being a legal activity in our state, uncertainty for prospective mining companies in our current permitting process has established an effective moratorium on mining in Wisconsin. Any mining legislation that is passed in the coming months will have the task of providing certainty and objectivity in this process.

Studies show that the economic effects of this activity are widespread. Earlier this year, a A n independent economic impact study estimated that a large iron ore mine in northern Wisconsin would likely result in hundreds of millions of dollars in economic activity and thousands of jobs – especially significant given the current economic state of the region.

I am hopeful that Wisconsin will be able to see such benefits from new mining operations. We are fortunate to have a number of desirable mineral deposits that will no doubt attract mining companies. I am confident we can realize significant economic benefits from such an industry while at the same time protecting our wonderful natural resources.

Thank you again for contacting me on this important matter.

Sincerely,

Governor Scott Walker”

Why did the guy with the populist message in the recent Batman motion picture turn out to be the villain? Why did the movie depict that following him put the People on the path to anarchy, chaos and ultimately their own nuclear incineration?

It is almost as if the Movie wanted to condemn a political platform that challenged the established order? A bankster type character even threatened that with the destruction of a symbolic Wall St type building what the People hold dearest “under their mattresses” would be worthless.

Do People care that Government influences the media so that it helps them manipulate the People?

Did any of these messages serve to incite the nut job to carry out his movie theatre massacre?

Why is it that having passed a law to consolidate the media, Bill Clinton is constantly seen amongst Hollywood and media stars?

GM Shows Why We Need Medicare for All

Thom plus logo General Motors just pulled healthcare for 50,000 workers. There are some Democratic candidates suggesting that people love their health insurance companies, but this calculated move by a giant corporation that you and I helped bail out proves that employer sponsored healthcare is just another tool to control workers.
