I’m just making an observation about our rigged political system and not endorsing anybody. And I continue to be baffled with the establishments hatred of Trump

Trump and Hillary are either being allowed to be where they are at in the race via a tacit approval given the preponderance of the media (Hillary) or, by every indication, similarly being “asked to leave” (Trump).

Rubio is ALEC’s bitch, and most like the Kochs as well. Nothing else would provide a legitimate explanation for his trips to Madison, WI the current headquarters of ALEC.

The Establishment hates Trump because he is a nationalist. The Establishment wants globalists like Hillary and Oh-Bomb-Ya. Note that it was the Koch's that funded Bill Clinton's original & successful campaign to turn the Democrat party into Republican Party version B.

The corporate establishment and the uberwealthy don't like Trump because even though he is in a general way aligned with their interests in particular cases he may not favor some individual powerful interest. Given his wealth he is less subject to manipulation by them and not as readily controlled. Rubio is favored by the large corporations and the super wealthy precisely because they judge him to be the most easily controlled Republican. The same holds true for Hillary who is generally more aligned with powerful interests and more easily controlled than Sanders. Both Rubio and Clinton are craven status seekers performing as lapdogs to the powerful as they try to advance both their financial and social standing with the small circle of string pullers who in fact will ever regard them as contemptible arrivistes.

Here's what the feud and reconciliation between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson can teach us about civility

Thom plus logo Donald Trump did not invent the art of the political insult but he's inflamed the level of vitriolic public discourse and incivility to a new low unmatched by other presidents. In a tainted tradition that has permeated our history, other presidents have not been immune to dishing out acerbic insults against one another.
