I recently had to travel thus needed to frequent restaurants. Its been 12 years since my last trip but notice a disturbing change in public health. The children are suffering from autism in alarming numbers. This unregulated use of pesicides are creating this public health crisis.

If you're a newly wedded couple thinking of having kids , you have a one in 68 chance that your child will be born with autism. We are all being systematically poisoned for profit. RoundUp the Monsanto product has been linked to autism and alzheimers in seniors.

Profits over People...

Pesticide maker tries to kill risk study
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/pesticide-maker-tries-kill-risk-study/
The industry’s request comes after EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt announced last month he was reversing an Obama-era effort to bar the use of Dow’s chlorpyrifos pesticide on food after recent peer-reviewed studies found that even tiny levels of exposure could hinder the development of children’s brains.

As a result, traces of the chemical are commonly found in sources of drinking water. A 2012 study at the University of California at Berkeley found that 87 percent of umbilical-cord blood samples tested from newborn babies contained detectable levels of chlorpyrifos.

Dow, which spent more than $13.6 million on lobbying in 2016

Dow’s chief executive was at Trump’s side.

“Andrew, I would like to thank you for initially getting the group together and for the fantastic job you’ve done,”

any suggestion that the company’s $1 million donation to Trump’s inaugural committee was intended to help influence regulatory decisions made by the new administration is “completely off the mark.”

They spray roundup on wheat when it is mature to kill it off. A couple of days of drying and it is much easier to harvest.

MIT researcher Dr Stephanie Seneff PhD is also alarmed by the correlation between growing Roundup use and a big increase in the incidence of autism.

What they do not tell you is her PHD is in computer science, not biology.....

Leave it to gumbo to defend chemical companies like Monsanto. Gumbo do you have any idea why we are ALL eating Frankenstein food? These GMO's were created for no other reason than to be able to withstand heavy applications of chemicals while everything else around the plant dies. The result of course since these GMO's are resistant to chemicals like roundup, Monsanto and other multinational chemical companies get to sell farmers more chemicals. We all ingest Frankenstein food, so chemical corporations like Monsanto can increase chemical sales and make more profits. They get to fuck with the world's food source so they can increase sales. And the United States government is the number one facilitator of this crime against nature and people of the world.

The reason farmers use it is because it increases yields, there are billions of people to feed and limited arable land and water to do so with.

Your source is an anti vaxxer quack.

It is hard to believe that anyone other than a bribed Senator or Congressman could defend Monsanto. I was working in Taiwan when the USA made a trade deal to sell our beef and Pork in Taiwan. People rioted in the streets because they did not want any part of our growth hormone, antibiotics and Dioxins in the meat. Heavy labeling laws were passed because of this. American meat had to be labeled as such. Australian Meat is the preferred meat in Taiwan. People in Obese America do not seem to care. Others do.

Soy beans are Genetically modified and heavily sprayed. Wheat and oats are not (at least commerically). But they do spray grains with with Roundup to make harvesting easier. I try to stick to organic food and grass fed beef.

Gumbo bought into the Monsanto propaganda, that their 'mission'. Is "feed the world" . Let's call bullshit on that, Monsanto 'mission' is sell more chemicals. I knew just from gumbo aligning himself with the right wing, he wasn't to bright. Like the man said,' there's a sucker born everyday'.

Roundup increases yields and decreases costs, so many farmers are hooked on it, particularly those using glyphosate resistant GMO seeds. And who do not care if they are feeding their customers Agent Orange.

Gaius ..."Roundup increases yields and decreases costs, so many farmers are hooked on it," Yields have been falling because the over use of roundup has seen an ever increasong bug resistance. Plus the whole GMO operation falls apart unless farmers use ever increasing amounts of chemicals and at what cost to the health of society. "Over 99% of GMO acreage is engineered by chemical companies to tolerate heavy herbicide (glyphosate) use and/or produce insecticide (Bt) in every cell of every plant over the entire growing season." For third world countries like India, farmers have one of the highest suicide rates in the world ,as of 2014 , there had been 300,00 suicides due to the use of GMO's and the high cost of buying terminator seeds and tons of chemicals , that have made them slaves of the chemical companies.

There's a 1 in 20 Chance of the Apocalypse. Shouldn't We Act Now?

A new study published in Science argues that we as a civilization need to move "rapidly" -- as in almost immediately -- towards a carbon emissions free future if we are to have any chance of holding off runaway global warming:
