Thom, I listen to your radio program as often as I can and I very much admire the fact set that you bring to political discourse, which frequently lacks it. But yesterday, in one of your science notes, you confused coumarin (a natural product and constituent of many plants including cinnamon) and coumadin (the anticoagulant used for medical purposes and for rat poison, aka warfarin). Chemically, coumarin and coumadin are very different. That said, it is true that eating large amounts of coumarin in cinnamon or anything else isn't good for you.
