I am a scientist and I'm African American, and I am as sympathetic as you are Thom towards Obama and the bad hand he has been dealt. However, his EPA head, Lisa Jackson, should be ashamed of herself. Allowing 800,000 gallons of these toxic dispersants to be sprayed on our gulf is a repsonse I would expect from Bush's EPA, not Obama's. Read this on air or to Bernie, and please give me a free podcast year so I can listen to you in lab still!

90% of the USA population claims not to see the progress of President Obama's Administration. People would be blind to a quick fix by the President, as in his stabilizing the economy and a more humane healthcare system. Have you ever noticed how politicians don't fix anything until election time. Those of us who seek a non-toxic environment can appreciate this tragedy and the lack of past and present consequences for oil companies. Wise and caring scientist warned us of Green House Gases decades ago, as taught in my Elementary Schools. Progress to resolve these issues receive winks, nods and disbelief. By only allowing the corporate criminal's exposure to the world do we see the greed, murder of human life, the destruction of Mother Nature and their ineffective fail-safe systems. The Indigenous Native Americans, both north and south, lived in balance with nature. They fought and died for a Green way of life. They foretold the consequences of annoying Mother Earth. They and all others who try to protect the Earth suffer through today without protection and justice. They have been exterminated to the point that only a fraction of these wise and glorious people exist. Rest assured this problem will be solved after the 'Drill Baby Drill' battle cry has drowned in Black Gold.

Is war on the menu for 2020 elections?

Thom plus logo We complain that democracy is under assault from Donald Trump, but he's just a cog in a much larger worldwide machine that is tearing down democratic self-governance.
