Again these republicans are talking balanced budget amendment, kind of strange coming from the same crowd who ran up most of Americas present debt and that in just 36 years.

These republicans are right fiscal frauds, the same crowd that has not balanced a federal budget since the Eisenhower administration in the mid fifties.

In Fact it was these republicans that in 1980 took over a debt from Jimmy Carter of under a trillion, the accumulated debt from all previous Presidents and in short order tripled it under Reagan.

Then these right wingers added another trillion and a half under George H W Bush Sr.

That imbecile George W added another 5.5 trillion, exactly doubling the debt to 11 trillion ,all by his lonesome. That didn't include the debt from republican illegal wars he started which now are inching towards 5 trillion dollars of debt.

Liberals under Obama had to spend trillions to save the US economy, from republican mismanagement and outright thievery that had left the US circling the drain, on the verge of total collapse.

Republican as you can see are total frauds , all talk no action, just literally quite the oposite of fiscally responsible. Look for more smoke and mirror tricks coming from the most irresponsible group in US history.

Proven over and over. Cut taxes for the wealthy. Increase spending on Defense and other lobbiest's favorites. Republican economics 101. Why will Trump not show his taxes? Because he pays nothing.

Legend , the last 3 republican administrations to hold power , Reagan, Bush 1 , Bush 2, ran up a US debt of almost 16 trillion dollars, Drumpf will be no different. But it will all go in the form of tax cuts for the rich personally and their corporations and of course military spending to stimulate the factories of the war profiteers, more tax give aways like whats just happened in Mike Penses Indiana. There will be nothing left for social programs , that will be a give away to the for profit corporatist buddies and the corporate owned media will like 'Standing Rock' say NOTHING, and these right wingers will finish looting your country.

I know. And a lot of Trump voters will eventually realize it. The right wing trolls on this site will disappear, just like the protest voters from 6 months ago that were vehemently not going to vote for Hillary or Trump and now we have Trump. You do not hear from them anymore. The cabinet that is being chosen is a Fascist Dream Team. And what does Trump do? Tweets at 3 AM.

Alec Baldwin has tweeted back to Trump that he will stop the impersonation only if Trump releases his taxes.

In a couple of decades I have not enjoyed talk radio as much as I do right now. Press, Miller, Hartmann, Norman Goldman, etc. spend most of their time sputtering and stammering throughout their entire show.

The only thing that would be more entertaining would be for them to be fit with a blood pressure monitor for all to see.

Go Donald. Tweet away and don't fret over Baldwin. He was one of those who promised to move to Canada if you were elected. Hopefully he is a man of honor. Oops' I forgot he is a progressive.

Now I feel better.

DianeReynold i wouldn't be gloating yet my lady, the Drumpf presidency hasn't even been sworn in yet and that possibilty is still be challenged. Assuming Drumpf does take office his juvenile buffoonery , his toilet time 'tweeting' will make a mochery of your countries leadership, that's of course if he isn't hauled away in a straight-jacket to the looney bin.

Personally DianeReynold i see permanent defeat of the republican party as the result of wide spread buyers remorse by the electorate. Time corrects everything , including the elected obscenity of this racist , homophobic, anti feminist republican party.

Looks like right wingers and friends of right winger were paying eastern European trolls to write fictious stories about Hillary and posting them on well known right wing web sites. Like feeding red meat to jackals and that's demeaning natures predators.

Where have I heard this all before? Oh yea, it was just before the 2014 and 2016 elections. Most recently, Nov. 8, 2016 just hours before primetime TV pundits were shattered by the landslide Trump victory.

Hit and run Dianereynolds is back! Let's see the Republicans left the economy in the tank in 2008. We were in 2 very expensive non winable wars. Corruption was the name of the game with contractor military support. The republicans do nothing for 8 years except obstruct anything that will help the country. And now you think that the Republican Fascist can save us from a good economy built by the Democratic Party. He is building a great cabinet of Fascists and Deniers. You will have buyers remorse at some point. It will be interesting to see if you admit it.

Dianereynolds, I personally think that Kellyanne Conway is very good at her job. I would give her a lot of credit for Trumps victory in the Electoral College. She has that ability to lie with a very sweet smile and always has combacks with the same smile. She dropped her guard and admitted what a terrible place a Trump Cabinet is for a woman.

It just keeps getting worse for Diane, Coalage and Gumball. Here is your Secretary of Labor.

I am retired and will not be affected by a lot of this, how about you?

Legend if you're talking to me , i'm in the same boat as you, retired, so all this doesn't affect me one bit, plus i'm Canadian , living in Canada and its a whole different world up here.

Why is it so different up here compared to the US, the number one broadcaster in Canada is our publicly funded , government operated Canadian Broadcasting (CBC) network, operating coast to coast, which gives more in depth factual information, although it tends to lean slightly left.

Guess what , the right wingers up here dressed up as conservatives have been underfunding our CBC everytime their in power, they've tried every way to subvert it, because of course they want it gone, they want Canadians dumbed down and misinformed as much as our corporate news fed American cousins.

Linda McMahan the WWE Executive that Trump appointed to head the Small Business Administration donated $6 million to the Trump campaign. It just keeps getting worse.

I promise I will spend every minute of the next 8 years wringing my hands and running around with my hair on fire.

3 Supreme Court Justices and 97 judge appointments.

Oh God, what is we going to do?

" 3 Supreme Court Justices and 97 judge appointments.

We're all watching Diane as you gloat and wring your hands in satisfaction and we're also taking note , you're placing your party above country , because that's what fascists, ideologues do. Diane we know you're a sociopath who'd sell her kids for expediency, because you have no shame or moral compass, that's also why you're so quick and proud to embrace the con artist, at the deteriment of your nation.

Legend:

You are incorrectly believing that the average Trump voter is concerned with Trumps appointments. What you do need to understand is, the more stuttering and stammering that comes from the leftie/socialists, the louder we in the middle laugh at your plight. We have had your political correctness, race baiting, and divisiveness shoved up our behinds for the last eight years. The working class told you it was time to stop. Misinterpretation of the middle of the country's voter sentiment got you here. Pardon us if we gave you the finger, we got it from you far too long.

I do relish how most of you including our host laughed at the idea those crazy Texans may want to secede from the union. Now that it is Californians requesting the same, many endorse the idea. Not to worry, the earthquake caused by global warming will self correct California's problems.

May I suggest many of you use your Obamacare insurance to seek therapy and relief in a heavy dose of anti-depressants over the next eight years. If three weeks into president elect Trumps landslide victory has you all this wound up, you are really going to need them.

To address your question,

Personally, I think Trump is following up with his campaign promises to drain the swamp from the usual Washington insiders. If you intend to argue with "these guys are insiders" I will counter with, "they have actually worked for a living not been community organizers".

Bring on the business leaders and Generals.

Go Donald. Three Supreme Court Justices and 97 judges ready and waiting for approval.

You are the one that did not believe me when I said that they would cut Social Security and raise the age. Full retirement will be raised to 69 under the new plan. You can also bet with Trump and his fascist regime that women will never get equal pay or protection in the work place. His landslide victory as you call it was short 3 million votes to Hillary. So you have a President on day 1 with less than 50% approval rating. He is not draining the swamp, he is stocking it with billionaires, snakes and alligators. Maybe you should take the time to read up on them. It was just 8 years ago that the last Republican regime was in office. I remember how well that went. I got the last laugh. But 4500 American soldiers did not get a last laugh.

Legend may i add , Drumpf had less than 25% of the eligible voters cast their ballot for him, so not only is he 3 million votes behind Hillary , but he's taking power representing only a quarter of the voters. Trump received a little over 50% of those who voted , but half the eligible didn't vote, so he won the Presidency with approx 25% of the total available electorate.TRUMP the two bit president.

Dianereynolds comes back with he post #20 which is total opinion and zero fact. It would be interesting to know her age background etc. Just to see how screwed she will be under this Fascist regime. If she is in the 1% she will do well. I wonder if she will give us an insight. Otherwise seems that the Trolls are dead.

How our republic could die in the age of Trump - in a stunning parallel to the fall of Rome

Thom plus logo The American republic could die, just like Rome. Wavering for some time on the verge of becoming a complete oligarchy, America is on the verge of flipping from a democratic republic to a strongman or autocratic form of government, something that's happened to dozens of democracies in the past few decades, but never before here.
