I remember so well the arrogance of the Bush administration. They were contemptuous of everything that Clinton and his administration did to warn them about al qaeda. Bush and Cheney went right on with their indifference until we were attacked. Richard Clark also tried to warn the Bush administration but got nowhere.
The 911 Timeline showed long ago that the Bush admin had warnings from other countries and other intelligence agencies. They did not go on high alert.. The airlines escape blame but they should not.. The highjackers walked through unmanned security gates that did not havet metal detectors. .
Without a doubt -- YES, the Bush administration did not pay attention to the many warnings. Ignored them anticipating that it wouldn't be real bad. Remember, Condelissa shockingly making the statement --They did use planes. So many things could have been different but despite the horriable tragic loss, we now DO realize it is imperative to stay alert no matter how small the warnings may be.
They did not need to be incompetent or complicit, to have "let it happen" - while all too ready to exploit America's "second Pearl Harbor" as described in their own 1990s PNAC "Project for a New American Century" document, and Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine." Calling them 'incompetent" gives them a pass, unnecessarilly absolving any greater responsibility for later consequences.
Fact is we don't usually call successful projects "incompetent" -- nor should we in this case. We do so now naively, only to our own future risk. Until we or future historians conduct a full and complete investigation, we are left with speculation based on demonstrably incomplete evidence and information.
His connections with Saudi Arabians is and always will be suspect.
A bonafide Islamic demon able to land a blow on American soil was pure serendipity for these clowns. 9-11 was Dubya's ticket to re-election.
When I saw the Towers come down, it reminded me of a controlled demolition of a building, which I've seen film on numerous times. I'm far from an expert on engineering or explosives and it was extremely obvious even to me. There was a lot of outrage for the first few months, even from most of our media who discussed many of these things and then all of a sudden it just goes away only to re-emerge every year on the anniversary of 9/11. No accident that Bush was gone from DC for a month, or the air force was sent off at that time and there was no air protection. Then you look at statements made by Bush before he was ever elected stating he wanted to invade Iraq, and Cheney who did nothing himself and then the wars made his former corporation, Haliburton, wealthy when prior to that event and the subsequent wars was on the verge of bankruptcy. It all smacks of collusion on some level.
President GW Bush and VP Richard Cheney refused to answer to Congress and to be sworn under oath regarding 911 events. They also interferred with the investigation removing evidence from the scene, destroying tapes, swearing government workers and military into silence, etc. That should have been impeachment and treason right there. They are elected officials not royals.
On this anniversay of 911 I want to give us tax payers and citizens a big hug. We lost a lot on 911. It was the elite's "Pearl Harbor" to take us to war for their profit. They used it to remove "our way of life and freedoms" not Bin Laden.
By the way Bin Laden and his second in command is allegedly dead. Why are we still there at $2B a week? The 911 attack we now know was from within with help from the British and Israeli criminals (not the ordinary people). Jefferson was right when he said democracy can not be defeated by a foreign enemy. It has to be from within...and it was.
I heard some economists talking on the Florida radio station about the national debt. One man mentioned the "entitlements" having to be cut back. No mention of the cost of those illegal wars with bases all over the world causing our debt. Or the corporate welfare (constant bailouts and fraud ignored) by those big international corporations and bankers all over the world.
Whose empire are we paying for really? Doesn't seem like ours to me. We pay and our citizens die yet the Brits get the oil and gold. The internationals bankers profit big time. They are in London. Throw the Brits out again?
What we have now is a criminal organization government run by the few. It is an oligarlchy just like in Russia which is not democratic either. It is neither Republican or Democratic. It is globalist and Fascist. The few are at war with the world's people. That is why "We the people" are living in constant fear and under security watch. It is not in Germany and Italy, etc. this time but in America and around the world. The Fascists are back.
The world bankers are robbing every country they can and as fast as they can. Even the royals are back under the EU Lisbon Treaty. We are to be a slave world with the few powerful. The chruch clergy (all but a few) are in there to keep us in line. They have been silenced and bought off by Faith Based dollars. We have all the elements mentioned as Fascism as feared by Sinclair Lewis.
Follow the money trail.

I also thought about why 911 happen. It dawned on me that at that Akron,OH peace conference with Arafat, Sharon, and Clinton Madeline Albright went to the local college and spoke. Secretary of State Albright asked the students to go to war in Iraq for Israel. They screamed..."Hell no we won't go to war for Israel". She must have hated that!
So when we were attacked on that day and no President or leader came on TV or radio to warn us and tell us what was going on or what to do...I knew it was about fear and a drive to war in Iraq.
All we had on 911 was Dan Rather!! We didn't hear anything for days. The most powerful military on earth was in a stand down. The MO and fear tactics certainly fits now that I think back on it all.
John Ashcroft issued fake color terrorist attacks, etc. It cost our local governments a fortune for security, etc. Home Depot made a fortune on duck tape to keep the biochemical attack out. Tom Ridge was on the board of Home Depot. He even admitted Ashcroft issued fake terrorist alarms. They wanted us up on the roof to look for terrorists. They wanted us to spy on our neighbors. Yet none of them went to jail.
This all happened because those at the top allowed it. Obama would not allow us to punish or investigate it so he too was blocking the biggest attack and crime on America ever. Go forward and not look back is not an answer for what happened to America on 911. It could happen again since those responsible are still walking this earth unpunished.
Many Americans are just waking up and realizing what is going on at the top of our crminal organization government. They don't know exactly what or why but they know something is very wrong. To divert us from the truth they have us at each other's throats. Division has never been so far apart in our Congress. That is why the poll numbers are so low. The great democracy of the world is in the tank. The tigger to kill it was 911.
Many of us heard Bush and his cronies were trying to figure out how to enter Iraq and kill Hussein as soon as they put a foot into the White House. Well, he got his wish, ruined our country and let Iran crawl out from under Saddam Hussien's thumb to threaten the world - all I understand in preparation for the "end times" he gleaned from the Bible.
And people criticize President Obama? It is beyond me there are so many unthinking, irresponsible people in this country. God help us all if another Republican is put in the office of the presidency or we fail to take the Senate and the House. Vote 2012!
Besides all the many Intelligence agency warnings about an imminent attack on America, there was Richard Clarke's strong personal warnings to Bush, and the Arizona agent who tried to alert her bosses about the flight school peculiarities. I am not so cynical that I think Bush knew specifically about the attack, but I have a gut feeling that he welcomed an attack on this country so that he would have an excuse to complete his Dad's Iraqy mission. Ironically, rather than hold him accountable for 9-11, and the two unnecessary wars he was given four more years in which to destroy our economy, and with the Patriot Act, our freedom. Simply installing doors on airliners preventing access to the cockpits would have prevented another 9-11, yet we have to endure ridiculous inconveniences of airport lines and searches. We have let fear overwhelm our common sense. Sarcastically, I can imagine the dead perpetrators of 9-11 looking down from their heaven and grinning from ear to ear, and not because of their promised 75 virgins, but becasue we are so stupid.
