Yes, especially some democrats who are middle of the road. A short time ago I went to the US Congress site and sent messages to both Democratic senators from my state regarding saving Social Security. From one, I received a form letter full of excuses and rhetoric. From the other, a genuine note that said she would not vote to mess with Social Security. Apparently 1 senator would be wearing ads, one would not.
