To much Corporate $$$$ in the pockets of politicians to make the changes the average voter wants. I wonder how these politicians are going to feel when the hybred weeds from these type of crops take over the farmland? The United States Polictican is a COWARD, VOLTURE CAPITALIST, AND CHILD MOLESTER, The Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and these three are ONE.
We really do have a fascistic state now. The corporations dictate and the politicians pander to them.
We need a revolution - campaign finance reform, no corporate personhood, no more lobbyists having incredible power over the politicians.
I know it will never change, though.
I grieve for our children.
We don't even have a representetive republic any more, we have a plutocracy, a government ruled by money not by the people. The "voting" system is controled by big corporations, the "electoral collage" and "winner takes ALL votes" has shut out "third" parties. I see no peaceful, legal way to change the injustice that now controls this country.
Obama promissed "change" but all we got was yet a worse version of "Bush",. Corporations literally get away with murder, they destroy our land, air and water and we are taxed to pay for the clean up, the rich continue to get obscenly richer while the 95% get poorer and even what meager social programs we still have are up for cuts while our illegal wars grow in bloodshed.
The worlds worse "terrorist" is the USA, not the poor men who are trying to oppose our cruel occupation of their country. What possible path is available to change our criminal, unjust course?
In the age of corporations being people too, you know that if frankenfoods are banned or even if GMOs have to be disclosed to the public to enable an informed choice, it will "only embolden the terrorists". Creating crops that cannot produce seeds for next year is unconscionable. But there will be no agribusiness left behind in this war on obsene and unjust corporate profits.
