Different rhetoric. Same GOP. BTW-- Who caught former govenor Palin speaking at CPAC on C-SPAN this past weekend? She was disparaging the President for over reliance on teleprompters just as the C-Span camera caught an angle of her facing, you guessed it, TELEPROMPTERS!! While she was guzzling down a super-sized soft drink prompt. The more things change....

The GOP will never ever ever change. They've been the same old party from day one. As long as there is an elite class there will be the GOP.

Why should they change. The majority of americans my think one way, but as long as the gop is in charge they do not have to change. As they take over more states and make voting something that they can give to people who feel the way they do they will stay in charge.

And the majority of democrats think that they country feels the way the gop does, so they will not stand up for what is right because they want to get relected.

I am begining to wonder if the gop is not right.

They're content to pushing people to the edge, coming to them and throwing out some bones. This time however I hope you folks bite back that phoney handout in the END. THEY CAN CHANGE AS SOON AS THEY WANT. They say they're gonna do grassroot. What tricks do think do you think they have in your MIND!

Well, there are many stupid people out there. If they can be swayed by the $10 million the GOP'ers are willing to spend, more sorrow for the Democratic party. I think we need to have boots on the ground continuously to show people the FACTS and compare them with the LIES the RepubliCON party uses all the time.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Right through the worst of the Bush years and into the present, Thom Hartmann has been one of the very few voices constantly willing to tell the truth. Rank him up there with Jon Stewart, Bill Moyers, and Paul Krugman for having the sheer persistent courage of his convictions."
Bill McKibben, author of Eaarth
From Cracking the Code:
"No one communicates more thoughtfully or effectively on the radio airwaves than Thom Hartmann. He gets inside the arguments and helps people to think them through—to understand how to respond when they’re talking about public issues with coworkers, neighbors, and friends. This book explores some of the key perspectives behind his approach, teaching us not just how to find the facts, but to talk about what they mean in a way that people will hear."
Paul Loeb, author of Soul of a Citizen
From Cracking the Code:
"Thom Hartmann ought to be bronzed. His new book sets off from the same high plane as the last and offers explicit tools and how-to advice that will allow you to see, hear, and feel propaganda when it's directed at you and use the same techniques to refute it. His book would make a deaf-mute a better communicator. I want him on my reading table every day, and if you try one of his books, so will you."
Peter Coyote, actor and author of Sleeping Where I Fall
