At Mondragon - both the mountain and the cooperative city - in Spain (written about in "Threshold" book)
From Cracking the Code:
"In Cracking the Code, Thom Hartmann, America’s most popular, informed, and articulate progressive talk show host and political analyst, tells us what makes humans vulnerable to unscrupulous propagandists and what we can do about it. It is essential reading for all Americans who are fed up with right-wing extremists manipulating our minds and politics to promote agendas contrary to our core values and interests."
—David C. Korten, author of The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community and When Corporations Rule the World and board chair of YES! magazine
From Screwed:
"If we are going to live in a Democracy, we need to have a healthy middle class. Thom Hartmann shows us how the ‘cons’ have wronged this country, and tells us what needs to be done to reclaim what it is to be American."
—Eric Utne, Founder, Utne magazine
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann seeks out interesting subjects from such disparate outposts of curiosity that you have to wonder whether or not he uncovered them or they selected him."
—Leonardo DiCaprio, actor, producer, and environmental activist

What bothers me is that when gas was 25cents a gallon wages are still at that level but gas increased 16 times that as has almost all food and other necessities. Wages should be increased the same!!
Another thing is we had an anonomous senator introduce a bill that exempted monsanto from being prosecuted of ANY wrong doing from even the superior courts! Since when can a sleazy senator hide behind anonimity? And even place it in a bill that had nothing to do with this to begin with? WAKE-UP PEOPLE!! WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE REPRESENTATIVES THAT DONT HIDE THEIR SLEAZY ACTIONS FROM THE PEOPLE!!
At least one week - preferably a month, like in Europe.
