Easy one, they've already said they would. No way do they want a Democratic majority on the DC Court.
The right wing clearly, publicly stated that their top priority was to make this a "failed presidency" by obstructing everything President Obama tries to do -- and doing so purely for the sake of obstructing. They defiantly stated that this (essentially, throwing a royal hissy fit) took priority over the best interests of the country.
EVERYTHING about GOP is obstructing our President. They are digging a grave for themselves (albeit slowly) until one day the American people will consider them irrevelant.
