As a former public school teacher I am reminded as to why I am resistant to business sticking it's nose into public policy. While I was teaching in the 80's, local businesses decided that they wanted to "Donate" to our public schools. This translated into business dictating what was being taught. Tweeking curriculum so that student learning suited the needs of the local corporations rather than individual student needs.
Business is self serving having no regard for human and responsible immigration reform or any other public policy and should therefore be excluded from any and all debates.
If I could have voted NO to both of the above options I would have. The word "private" should not even be in the same sentence with "prisons." There should be no such thing as private prisons.
