This is a hard one. But, I have to stick to what I know in my head (not in my heart, which is just floored by the videos I see...)---bombing people never, ever produces the results we want
I'm often frustrated by such polls, which give only 2 options, including rationales that may not be mone. In this case, I'm reluctant to support bombings, but mainly because of their likely ineffectiveness and collateral damage, NOT because of fear of retaliation.
Not sure how to address this, except for suggesting you ask responders for THEIR reasons for positions, not assume all think alike.
I only participate when I strongly agree or disagree with one of the choices. I loathe/abhor/detest the phrasing of "win" or "defeat" in such a complicated situation. It isn't like there are rules, referees, time limits or a scoreboard.
These terms seem tried to make us forget that this is now a war, not a game.
The arms industry is the biggest industry in the world. Without buyers for these arms, alot of people would be out of work, therefore the U.S. needs to perpetually keep conflict going around the world. WMD was their excuse in Iraq; 9/11 was their excuse for Afghanistan, the list goes on and on. The powers that be need to convince you and I that these wars are justified. Don't believe everything you hear from mainstream media. Try tuning into alternative media outlets, like RT, Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, etc.
