From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Through compelling personal stories, Hartmann presents a dramatic and deeply disturbing picture of humans as a profoundly troubled species. Hope lies in his inspiring vision of our enormous unrealized potential and his description of the path to its realization."
—David Korten, author of Agenda for a New Economy, The Great Turning, and When Corporations Rule the World
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"In an age rife with media-inspired confusion and political cowardice, we yearn for a decent, caring, deeply human soul whose grasp of the problems confronting us provides a light by which we can make our way through the quagmire of lies, distortions, pandering, and hollow self-puffery that strips the American Dream of its promise. How lucky we are, then, to have access to the wit, wisdom, and willingness of Thom Hartmann, who shares with us here that very light, grown out of his own life experience."
—Mike Farrell, actor, political activist, and author of Just Call Me Mike and Of Mule and Man
From Screwed:
"The powers that be are running roughshod over the powers that OUGHT to be. Hartmann tells us what went wrong — and what you and I can do to help set American right again."
—Jim Hightower, National Radio Commentator, Writer, Public Speaker, and author of the bestselling Thieves in High Places

2 yes votes? YES or YES? Hmmm
Medicare for all Eliminate the greedy profiteers ( Ins Co CEO's )
NON profit health care makes economic sense
Just as Blue Cross Blue Shield used to be NON profit
We can do this. IF US gets any more far right Supreme court judges We are SOL
Citizens United is a disgrace It Gives Corps & billionaires too much power & control . Thats not democracy Its another 'Gilded Age '
US Run by Robber Barons
Health care as a right for citizens ONLY!
We can not afford to give health care/education to illegals, nor should we incourage them to come here and TAKE from the system WE have paid into...Uncle Sap needs to get this into his head. If people want to come here they need to do it leagely and our Gov needs to enforce the laws on the books, it really IS that simple.
A "Yes" and a "Yes"? Sound like the voting is rigged! We're getting the same illusion of choice as we get when we vote for the Democrats or the Republicans. When it comes to health care, we need to do away with Obamacare and switch to a Single Payer program, and yes, Congress, the President, the Judical Systems, and all individuals should get the same program the rest of us get, and no, after they leave they don't get to keep getting their health care for free. And no, retired politicans shouldn't get their salary for life either.
