The only reason I say yes is because who will be responsile for tracking down "Lone Wolves"? Lone Wolves are individuals residing here within the United Sates that are usually influenced by muslim extremists to take it upon themselves to threaten the safety and security of the American people.
Yes, it should be repelled. I can understand the survalliance if and only if they are already suspected. What the terrorist try to do by their actions is make everyone afraid. By responding to fear, they achieve their goal of making us act in accordance with their wishes. We behave as if they are here. But to go about our everyday actions is to tell them we are not afraid and we are not intimidated.
Secondly, and perhaps much more importantly, Much of the Patriot Act was the result was intended by the government and its corporate owners to control and monitor the populance.
