Bernie Sanders just might be a "New FDR", but as the original once said, "presidents are choosen not elected". The power brokers who control who gets elected will never allow anyone who is serious about change to get anywhere never the levers of powers unless they absolutely can and do control him (or her). Remember----we are an oligarchy now. Not a democratic republic. The American People gave away their govenment while they were busy watching so-called "reality TV", playing videos games and most recently, arguing about Confederate flags, statues, and tombstones.

My son, wife and I travelled from Plymouth, MN to Rochester,MN (106miles) on 7/2/15 to hear his message and it was great! Totally support Bernie and try to spread the word and his message to all we know via social media and person to person.

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT FROM WITHIN ©
BERNIE could be just the Trojan horse we need.
He Play's along with the powers that be, like Obama did, to become the chosen one. The GOP couldn't stand the idea of a black MAN in the office of the "white" house, but the "YES WE CAN" momentum couldn't be stopped. The majority of the People wanted change then and eight years later, moreover. The GOP tricksters have time tested methodology to shape and form what they, the 1%'s, crave, that sick & twisted plantation mentality. The dogmatic career politicians tuck the new guy under their money feathered wings, with the sheeple continuing on with the status quo.
THE PLAN (branching from another time test tactic ; BERNIE becomes the obedient dog, like many before him. As president he will carry on with occasional olive branch token gestures to the 99%. All the while, fetching sticks for the Walton's and the like.
NOW! WAIT FOR IT, WAIT FOR IT... Extra,Extra read all about it; BERNIE SANDERS, THE FIRST DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST, AND, THE FIRST JEWISH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL APPOINT FOUR U.S. GRADE "A" CHOICE INDIVIDUALS FOR JUSTICES OF THE SUPREME COURT!!!
All hell will distinguish as our Constitution, Bill of Rights and ALL of the Amendments, by executive order, will be truly defined as these laws of the land were written. (With a few tweaks here and ther) BUT YES, THE SANDERS\HARTMANN ADMINISTRATION SETS IN STONE, ALL MAN AND ALL WOMEN ARE TREATED EQUALLY IN THE PURSUIT OF, KEEP ON KEEPIN ON!!!
it could happen. I'm jus sayin... Make for a cool movie, wouldn't it?

Peace!

Yes, Bernie could be the next FDR; I get chills thinking about it However, as an American History major I fear what could happen with this truly progressive, let us finally get back on the right track candidate? Who is behind this new attack, BlacklivesMatter? We know Bernie is the LAST candidate that this focus should be on, it just doesn't make any sense at all. He is a good man that wants this country a just and fair place for ALL. Is there a fear of his success in the running at this point? Could there be a plan to bring him down? The big question, who is behind it? Go Bernie, I think you are wonderful!

Thom's Blog Is On the Move

Hello All

Thom's blog in this space and moving to a new home.

Please follow us across to hartmannreport.com - this will be the only place going forward to read Thom's blog posts and articles.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"In an age rife with media-inspired confusion and political cowardice, we yearn for a decent, caring, deeply human soul whose grasp of the problems confronting us provides a light by which we can make our way through the quagmire of lies, distortions, pandering, and hollow self-puffery that strips the American Dream of its promise. How lucky we are, then, to have access to the wit, wisdom, and willingness of Thom Hartmann, who shares with us here that very light, grown out of his own life experience."
Mike Farrell, actor, political activist, and author of Just Call Me Mike and Of Mule and Man
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann is a creative thinker and committed small-d democrat. He has dealt with a wide range of topics throughout his life, and this book provides an excellent cross section. The Thom Hartmann Reader will make people both angry and motivated to act."
Dean Baker, economist and author of Plunder and Blunder, False Profits, and Taking Economics Seriously
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann is a literary descendent of Ben Franklin and Tom Paine. His unflinching observations and deep passion inspire us to explore contemporary culture, politics, and economics; challenge us to face the facts of the societies we are creating; and empower us to demand a better world for our children and grandchildren."
John Perkins, author of the New York Times bestselling book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
