Let's re-define "entitlements"

Social Security, Medicare, and Unemployment are INSURANCE programs and while we are "entitled" to them, it's because we paid into them. If "entitlements" must continue to be a nasty word, then it should be applied to what are truly nasty things.....the tax credit "entitlements " the ultra wealthy THINK they're entitled to. Every time I hear the word entitlements, I wish someone would respond that we SHOULD be looking at the tax cuts the rich feel they're entitled to.
