You must check out this story that is emerging in Colorado in regards to our flagship university system, whose chancellor, Bruce Benson (an oil man with a single undergraduate degree in geology from C.U.) was appointed by former GOP Governor and oil man Bill Owens, and recommended for the the post by former GOP U.S. Senator Hank Brown.

With a single payer health insurance program, there is the important issue of collecting health insurance from the citizens.
Single payer health insurance doesn't mean FREE insurance that the government has to go into debt to provide.

Employees of religious organizations have essentially the same rights as anyone else in our society. That includes a right to privacy, as well as a right to the free exercise of their religion. Their religious freedom is not circumscribed by others of even their own sect.
