How can we just tell 5 out of every 6 citizens seeking employment that no job mathematically exists for them? Not only that, but some Libertarian nut also wants to add insult to injury by cutting off unemployment insurance and reducing food stamps. I hope the kids of these unemployed citizens grow up with a full knowledge of the individual and political party responsible for this child abuse.

Yes, and I think the project should be completely building an alternative energy grid (the best way, not the outdated, inefficient, vulnerable way); all the infrastructure that needs to be done to support it; training and deploying people to install solar, wind, etc. etc. That is where the project should be focused, with secondary focus on repairing all the crumbling infrastructure like roads and bridges, but with new efficient, eco-friendly, low energy replacements. Let's focus on moving forward, but not adhering to the status quo while doing it.
