Of course we should, however, until the powers that be (and by that I mean the corporate powers behind the government) see a reason to, it won't happen. For them, it's not about clean air or clean water. "Global Warming" is fantasy, and that's the message they'll push. Landfills aren't in their neighborhoods. Unless they see a quick way to make a buck, it won't happen.

The action our Gov. is already taking is undisclosed to the public tho we see it happening daily above our head. Many deny the existance of global dimming not to mention the health effects of these ill advised tactics. SRM is real and is being done with out consent.

Until the TRUTH is made public I have little faith that our country will ever do the right thing. Like that movie quote that keeps haunting me "you can't handle the truth"...

Whether it does or not, Global warming will soon take stronger action with us. The odds are pretty good that humanity will be extinct by the end of the century. And the plutocrats feel so noble when they declare Apres moi, le deluge.

Hello All

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann is a literary descendent of Ben Franklin and Tom Paine. His unflinching observations and deep passion inspire us to explore contemporary culture, politics, and economics; challenge us to face the facts of the societies we are creating; and empower us to demand a better world for our children and grandchildren."
John Perkins, author of the New York Times bestselling book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"In an age rife with media-inspired confusion and political cowardice, we yearn for a decent, caring, deeply human soul whose grasp of the problems confronting us provides a light by which we can make our way through the quagmire of lies, distortions, pandering, and hollow self-puffery that strips the American Dream of its promise. How lucky we are, then, to have access to the wit, wisdom, and willingness of Thom Hartmann, who shares with us here that very light, grown out of his own life experience."
Mike Farrell, actor, political activist, and author of Just Call Me Mike and Of Mule and Man
From Screwed:
"The powers that be are running roughshod over the powers that OUGHT to be. Hartmann tells us what went wrong — and what you and I can do to help set American right again."
Jim Hightower, National Radio Commentator, Writer, Public Speaker, and author of the bestselling Thieves in High Places
