People are nterested in Action, effecitve Legislation (that would the benefit the American people, not the Corporations-are-people-too crowd). We're NOT interested with speeches, platitudes, and other hollow messages given so far by the former Secretary of State, what's her....name?

I so applaud his candidacy. He is the light that will shine on the negative influance's of money on our political discourse. Can he win... no way Hillary owns her party contributions and they own her. The Kochs own every thing else that Sheldon doesn't own.

I think he can, although it may come as a surprise to those espousing the conventional wisdom. But I see broad support from my social media from all sorts of people. Never say never. Already we're seeing Hillary trying to position herself as more populist just because of the threat of Bernie to her campaign. Give 'em Hell, Bernie!

BERNIE SANDERS AND JAN SCHAKOWSKY 2016!!!!!!!!!

CharlesN 11 years 11 weeks ago

Hands down the only choice, Senator Bernie Sanders for President of the Democratic Republic of the United States of America 2016.

Give him a majority in both houses of the Congress of the Democratic Republic of the United States of America 2016 and begin once again promoting "the general welfare" of the working class majority, as we were for 50 years prior to Reagan.

When Bernie says you have to vote....

He isn't just talking about November of 2016.

If you want to vote for Bernie in 2016 you need to get involved in the Democratic nomination process now. It's complicated, different in almost every state, but crucial if Bernie is to be nominated as the Democratic candidate in 2016.

It's about caucuses, and primaries, and getting elected as a delegate to your state or district Democratic convention. If you are a Democrat stay a Democrat. If you are not a Democrat, in many states you will have to become a Democrat to participate. Even if that turns your stomach you have to take one for the team is this is going to work.

This starts in January in Iowa and runs through most of 2016. Get informed, pay attention, don't miss deadlines, and put your body into the polling place or caucus site. Otherwise it's all talk and no meaningful action.

I hope the Tom Hartman show will take up this as its mission: Taking the time to understand all the rules in each jurisdiction, and informing listeners in a timely manner what they have to do and when they have to do it to get Bernie to the Democratic National Convention with enough delegates to win this nomination.

From Screwed:
"I think many of us recognize that for all but the wealthiest, life in America is getting increasingly hard. Screwed explores why, showing how this is no accidental process, but rather the product of conscious political choices, choices we can change with enough courage and commitment. Like all of Thom’s great work, it helps show us the way forward."
Paul Loeb, author of Soul of a Citizen and The Impossible Will Take a Little While
From Cracking the Code:
"No one communicates more thoughtfully or effectively on the radio airwaves than Thom Hartmann. He gets inside the arguments and helps people to think them through—to understand how to respond when they’re talking about public issues with coworkers, neighbors, and friends. This book explores some of the key perspectives behind his approach, teaching us not just how to find the facts, but to talk about what they mean in a way that people will hear."

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Through compelling personal stories, Hartmann presents a dramatic and deeply disturbing picture of humans as a profoundly troubled species. Hope lies in his inspiring vision of our enormous unrealized potential and his description of the path to its realization."
