This comment is from Gerald, a Christian, a liberal, a pacifist, a progressive, and a socialist. He is sharing this information with you from his hideaway bunker deep inside enemy territory, the United States of Mortal Sin.

His perceptual opinion believes that the United States of Mortal Sin is an evil, vile, and wicked nation and she is one of the triad of nations who is doing Satan’s work in the killing of God’s children.

We should never underestimate American stupidity in their voting patterns and their defense of the Fascist/Nazi Party, aka the GOP!!!

Americans have degenerated into a lowlife, a slime ball, and a scumbag people and existence!!!

As a side note the date for the 2010 midterm elections is interesting. My faith celebrates November 1 as All Saints Day for the souls that have died and are with God. November 2 has been celebrated as Holy Souls Day for the souls that have died and they are in purgatory cleansing their souls. They are saved but their souls must be prepared for heaven. About forty years ago November 2 was known as Poor Souls Day. For this year and for the rest of this century the United States of Mortal Sin will return to Poor Souls Day. Americans will have their souls under pain and suffering from the GOP. 2010 will see the demise of the Democratic Party. The slaughter of the Democrats will be of epic proportions. We will be witnessing an old fashion alley mugging from the GOP upon the Democrats.

Please hear this great nine minute commencement speech at Spelman College in 2009!

Finally, Obama’s days are numbered.

I may not be always right but I am never wrong. I did predict this possibility!!!

Here are some words from David Sirota’s last article.

The current crisis is deeper than we imagine. In a past recession, we could all at least concede that the challenge was "the economy, stupid." Now, though, we can't even agree on that truism. Our problem is the stupidity, stupid -- and solving that will take far more than an election.

Here is David Sirota’s complete article.

It just amazes me that conservatives still sell offshoring & outsourcing as something that is good for America. What shocks me is there are actual middle class (and lower class) members that buy it.

Simply frustrating.

Defunding the Department of Education is not to give states control; it's also a way to starve states into defunding education as a whole.

The TSA claims that all packages are screeened on domestic passenger flights. Where we have issues is with countries that fly into the US that do not screen packages.

Excluding cellphones skews polls.

As I document in my blog entry this morning, a PEW report finds that excluding cellphones from polls skew results by an average of +5 points in favor of Republicans.

Please, will someone tell me what President Obama and Congress did on their own to increase spending? The TARP wasn't his (although he agreed to it before taking office), and the auto companies' deal is being paid back, right? So, it's just the health care plan that ramped up spending... no wait, we are getting $500B savings from Medicare fraud......so what are they talking about? I guess it's just the money for the States' budgets that we are talking about, right? Where is all this "runaway spending"? Please, someone clue me in. Thanks.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann is a literary descendent of Ben Franklin and Tom Paine. His unflinching observations and deep passion inspire us to explore contemporary culture, politics, and economics; challenge us to face the facts of the societies we are creating; and empower us to demand a better world for our children and grandchildren."
John Perkins, author of the New York Times bestselling book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Through compelling personal stories, Hartmann presents a dramatic and deeply disturbing picture of humans as a profoundly troubled species. Hope lies in his inspiring vision of our enormous unrealized potential and his description of the path to its realization."
David Korten, author of Agenda for a New Economy, The Great Turning, and When Corporations Rule the World
From Cracking the Code:
"No one communicates more thoughtfully or effectively on the radio airwaves than Thom Hartmann. He gets inside the arguments and helps people to think them through—to understand how to respond when they’re talking about public issues with coworkers, neighbors, and friends. This book explores some of the key perspectives behind his approach, teaching us not just how to find the facts, but to talk about what they mean in a way that people will hear."
