THOM
Thom's personal email address is thom at thomhartmann.com. But please do not send an email to Thom unless it’s really critical; Thom receives over 500 emails a day and is rarely able to respond to email. Thom does not discuss or debate politics in email – that’s what the radio show and website is for. If you want to make a political point or ask a question about politics, call the program or post to the blog. People who send multiple emails a day to Thom, or who include Thom in long lists of others in the “to” field, are automatically put into a spam filter and, unfortunately, their emails never get read in the future.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND
Thom, Louise, and Shawn each receive several hundred emails a day, and while they read most, they rarely have the time or bandwidth to answer.

Our email server is automated so that people who send us multiple emails a week or include us in long lists of cc’d individuals are put on a spam list, and none of those emails can be read nor can we receive future emails of any sort from those email accounts. We sincerely regret having to do this, but with there only being 24 hours in a day, we have no choice at the moment.

And any emails sent to us become our property and may be reproduced on the internet, in Thom's books, or read on the air on radio and/or TV.

From Cracking the Code:
"No one communicates more thoughtfully or effectively on the radio airwaves than Thom Hartmann. He gets inside the arguments and helps people to think them through—to understand how to respond when they’re talking about public issues with coworkers, neighbors, and friends. This book explores some of the key perspectives behind his approach, teaching us not just how to find the facts, but to talk about what they mean in a way that people will hear."

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann is a literary descendent of Ben Franklin and Tom Paine. His unflinching observations and deep passion inspire us to explore contemporary culture, politics, and economics; challenge us to face the facts of the societies we are creating; and empower us to demand a better world for our children and grandchildren."
John Perkins, author of the New York Times bestselling book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Right through the worst of the Bush years and into the present, Thom Hartmann has been one of the very few voices constantly willing to tell the truth. Rank him up there with Jon Stewart, Bill Moyers, and Paul Krugman for having the sheer persistent courage of his convictions."
