I doubt there are many Kamikaze pilots left from WWII, their job description sort of doesn't lend itself to high survival rates afterall Thom.

BTW, I think Kamikaze translates to something like Divine Wind.

Can we stop having an explanation of the difference between the Japanese and English pronunciations of "Fukushima" every time it's mentioned? We're speaking English here, how about we just use that pronunciation and leave it without comment. When talking about Argentina, we don't comment every time that it's pronounced /arhentina/ in Spanish.

BTW, Japanese has many dialects, and they often differ in where they place the emphasis in a word. To add to this, if you really want the Japanese pronunciation, you have to pronounce the f as a bilabial fricative rather than as a labio-dental fricative, pronounce the u's unrounded, and use a pitch accent instead of a stress accent.

"Never one to shy away from the truth, Thom Hartmann’s collected works are inspiring, wise, and compelling. His work lights the way to a better America."
Van Jones, cofounder of RebuildTheDream.com and author of The Green Collar Economy
From Unequal Protection, 2nd Edition:
"Beneath the success and rise of American enterprise is an untold history that is antithetical to every value Americans hold dear. This is a seminal work, a godsend really, a clear message to every citizen about the need to reform our country, laws, and companies."
Paul Hawken, coauthor of Natural Capitalism and author of The Ecology of Commerce
From Screwed:
"Once again, Thom Hartmann hits the bull’s eye with a much needed exposé of the so-called ‘free market.’ Anyone concerned about the future of our nation needs to read Screwed now."
