Not that I want to say Palin was correct, for the most part she was quite off on Paul Reveres ride. However, the British Army's objective was to seize arms as well as to arrest prominent rebels (or as we now call them, Founding Fathers). So as far as her main point about protecting arms, in a way she was correct... but I think that it was more a mistake of being correct on her part.

Fox has "too many Liberals on"???

What color is the sky in this guys world? When was the last time Fox hosted an all-Democratic debate or did a segment on "what *Democrats* need to do to win"?
Fox constantly has on obscure pundits that "claim" they are "Liberal" and/or Democrats, but wouldn't know a Liberal of Democrat if they met one at a GreenPeace rally.

To Carrie Lukas: WIC does promote breast feeding, but they will provide for formula if that's what the mother wants.

The call with Tina was great. What she said about accidental force-feeding with a bottle means that even pumped milk can be a bad way of feeding a baby (though still better than formula). I also wonder about pumping because it may be too homogenized, whereas straight from the breast, milk starts out watery and progresses to caloric and nutritive.

Weaning happens in most animals because they become lactose intolerant, not the other way around. Some humans are lactose tolerant throughout their lives because they've evolved to be that way. This indicates that ingesting milk (from other animals) has actually helped their people survive through the ages. Lactose tolerance was acheived by delaying the onset of lactose intolerance. Some people's delay is only partial and they can become lactose intolerant in mid-life. Thom's story of becoming lactose intolerant by not consuming dairy for a long time sounds plausible, but it might be a coincidence of timing. Or maybe growing lactose intolerance was a psychological push to giving up dairy?

In a way he was warning the British. The residents of the Colonies were British subjects/citizens. We weren't Americans until after the Revolution. Revere said "The Regulars are coming" not "The British are coming". His primary mission was to warn Adams and Hancock that the soldiers were coming to arrest them. He did alert the British citizens that the Regulars were coming. Palin knows how to get attention and make money.

Medicare for All Brand. "Medicare for All" is going to be much easier to message than, "Single-payer Healthcare". More people understand, or think they understand Medicare. It has a highly recognized brand. It is thus more difficult for the conservatives to message against.
Let's do the cause a benefit and make an effort to drop the use of "single-payer" or "single-payer healthcare" from our public lexicon. Encourage state legislatures to title their health care efforts as "(Name of State) Medicare for All".
