I think the connection between flashy cars and mating is more direct than was stated. Flashy cars look new, implying that the man will get rid of the car as soon as it's the slightest bit "imperfect", so he probably changes cars often. And the implication is that he likes to change women as often as he changes cars.

Maxrot, I think a man will fix his Ferrari as long as possible, but when it gets to the point that he can't "un-bang" ;) it, he gets rid of it.

So if the Repugnants want voter ID to verify the voter, the problem has already been resolved by Corporate America. When you arrive at the polling station, just confirm the last for digits of your SSN. Its good enough for any Corporation that wants to verify your ID over the phone, it should be good enough when you walk into a polling place. Won't cost a thing, and it will verify nicely, and if they have doubts, you can always whip out your Social Security card.
