Thom,

I just heard on the AP news that Mitt W. Romney was showing how repair work to an historic bridge was an example of Obama's wasteful stimulus..
They got $150,000. towards the restoration but of course Romney got to call it a 'bridge to nowhere'.. Very clever for the Giant Pander..

Ok, I'm pretty sure that $150,000. is about what some millionaires would be given in the Romney or Ryan tax cuts.

Which $150,000. would create more jobs? I think this might be a really good comparison, on a scale that people can grasp, vs $500 million.. I'd love to see how many real jobs and how much local business came about from that $150,000. Ok, it might not be an interstate bridge, which I'm sure need work too, but I imagine the alternative would have been allowing it to crumble.

Just how many jobs would that 'average' millionaire create with his tax cut, or would they only be clerical jobs in the Cayman Islands?

Thom, the avid Texan Republican did it again. You said that the GOP is satanic, and he said that you call HIM a satanist. They hear what they want to hear.

Thr Republican solution for all that ignorance and apathy?

"I don't know and I don't care." ;-)

Cheers,

Thom's Blog Is On the Move

Hello All

Thom's blog in this space and moving to a new home.

Please follow us across to hartmannreport.com - this will be the only place going forward to read Thom's blog posts and articles.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"In an age rife with media-inspired confusion and political cowardice, we yearn for a decent, caring, deeply human soul whose grasp of the problems confronting us provides a light by which we can make our way through the quagmire of lies, distortions, pandering, and hollow self-puffery that strips the American Dream of its promise. How lucky we are, then, to have access to the wit, wisdom, and willingness of Thom Hartmann, who shares with us here that very light, grown out of his own life experience."
Mike Farrell, actor, political activist, and author of Just Call Me Mike and Of Mule and Man
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom is a national treasure. Read him, embrace him, learn from him, and follow him as we all work for social change."
Robert Greenwald, political activist and founder and president of Brave New Films
From Screwed:
"If we are going to live in a Democracy, we need to have a healthy middle class. Thom Hartmann shows us how the ‘cons’ have wronged this country, and tells us what needs to be done to reclaim what it is to be American."
