What I'd like to hear Pres. Obama say about the Keystone XL Pipeline is this:

"This project will neither create a significant number of jobs, nor reduce our dependence on foreign petroleum. It will increase the environmental destruction of the petroleum industry, and increase our contribution to global warming by promoting the burning of the dirtiest oil in the world. It will also bring huge profit to the Koch Brothers. And since their business spends tens of millions of dollars at every election to defeat members of my party, I will veto any effort to hand them more money at the expense of the American people's and humanity's ability to survive."

Hello All

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Never one to shy away from the truth, Thom Hartmann’s collected works are inspiring, wise, and compelling. His work lights the way to a better America."
Van Jones, cofounder of RebuildTheDream.com and author of The Green Collar Economy
From Screwed:
"The powers that be are running roughshod over the powers that OUGHT to be. Hartmann tells us what went wrong — and what you and I can do to help set American right again."
Jim Hightower, National Radio Commentator, Writer, Public Speaker, and author of the bestselling Thieves in High Places
From Screwed:
"Hartmann speaks with the straight talking clarity and brilliance of a modern day Tom Paine as he exposes the intentional and systematic destruction of America’s middle class by an alliance of political con artists and outlines a program to restore it. This is Hartmann at his best. Essential reading for those interested in restoring the institution that made America the envy of the world."
David C. Korten, author of The Great Turning and When Corporations Rule the World
